I'm sure it is, but they don't get another shot at this. They already stole the initial election, and have shown that they're only loyal to power, and moulding the policies of the country in their fucked up ideal image; not to the people themselves. If Trump goes, the Republicans as a whole must go as well.

But trump is anti-trade.
personally i think it may be Dan Coats, Director of National Intelligence and one of several congressmen who got banned from Russia for pushing for a harder response against the crimean annexation. the particular singling out of Russia and general focus on foreign policy sticks out to me. and it might just be confirmation bias but this line: He complained for weeks about senior staff members letting him get boxed into further confrontation with Russia, and he expressed frustration that the United States continued to impose sanctions on the country for its malign behavior. But his national security team knew better — such actions had to be taken, to hold Moscow accountable. sounds almost like a personal elaboration.

Yes, Donald, you committed treason by colluding with Russia.

So angry even his tweet is shaking. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1883/66a11613-0f52-4951-a6c5-0f52cb1a51fa/2018-09-05_17-39-43.mp4
Fox "News" is saying that this person needs to be drawn out as a national security risk and made responsible for treason charges. Very INTERESTING response huh. Also calling "the left" daffodils for not being able to handle truth. Also I was exposed to fox for a few minutes I need an iodine shower.
Yeah the multiple idioms seem to be insurance against the author getting discovered. I don't know why people think it's Pence, I don't think Pence is at all upset with the direction Trump is going.
Fucking AWESOME
another trump twitter meltdown within the next 7 days, I guarantee it.

Days???
Honestly I can see Trump using legal action to try to get the Times to disclose the guy's identity.
Yes, and I think in a transcript regarding a conversation he had with Comey, he had suggested putting reporters in jail to disclose sources. Time to flip for immunity I guess

He doesn't exist, but hypothetically if he did.... https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1037485664433070080 Jesus christ, if he wins a second term I'm moving out of here.
It's pence!! (probably not) https://twitter.com/davidmackau/status/1037457903614140416
I don't know if that would be hilarious or sad if Pence was running this whole "inner resistance"
I do wonder how Pence reconciles what the Bible says with interacting with Trump on a daily basis.
I mean as much as he's a trash human being, I never doubted for a second that he was a "patriot" by his own fucked up Republican-warped definition. Wouldn't surprise me if he has genuinely been hampering Trump all this time, but it doesn't make him innocent, nor fit for office. Once Trump's gone the entire administration needs to be torn down with him, and a serious investigation needs to be done into the entire Republican Party since they have demonstrated just how deeply corrupt they are.
So they like what Trump is doing but because he's making them look bad they're part of the "resistance"? Pull the other one you gutless fuckhead.
The more I think about it, the less well it sits with me. This guy is pretty much admitting that Trump is just a puppet for them to decide policies to rubber stamp. And this goes along with Woodward's book of aides deliberately concealing information (even if it's for the better) from Trump so that he doesn't do anything stupid. The fact they considered invoking the 25th amendment but collectively decided not to in favor of ruling from the shadows only disturbs me further. I'm actually almost there with Trump in saying it's treason.
"Turn him over"? Trump is really working to turn disagreeing with him into something that's seen as a criminal act
Hell, I wonder how Pence reconciles what the Bible says with how PENCE acts on a daily basis.
It's useless to speculate who it is, when it just as well might be most of the adminstration. Anybody who's had the misfortune of working with Trump probably tries to steer him away from idiotic decisions while advocating for conservative, regressive policies.
Honestly, that'd just be par for the course for a sizable amount of Republicans, who like to preach that they follow the bible, then constantly ignore it's teachings and target things unrelated to the bible as some kind of religious vigilantism to suit how they think others should act instead of thinking about their own abhorrent behavior. Their blatant manipulation and disregard for their own biblical texts does more damage to their own religion and brethren than the alleged "encroachment" of atheism they spout about ever will.
Well, God unleashed pestilence on thousands, so it's fairly easy to reconcile it.
