Brexit: Tusk says May's Chequers deal "will not work"

Boilrig what's your plan for if Scotland leaves the unions to stay with the EU?
I mean if Scotland wants a hard border straight through its border towns, so be it.
"People", you mean mostly same British nationalist/unionists morons and retards think their no such thing of consequences about leaving an bigger political union for few decades than smaller country like UK for four centuries.
Also, no one forget that it isn't over even after the UK leaves, they aren't banned from the EU, they can still rejoin after they leave, they'll just have to go through the same entry process as any other country and hey, the Brexit split is already 50/50 so it might happen sooner than some think, all it takes is supporting and voting for a political party that supports rejoining and have them win.
Do not give up when it happens, it is not over, be politically active, help push the UK into rejoining after they leave.
This was the first hint. Trade and Empire leaked out here. And then an admission. Brexit also might mean a trade bulwark against China for NZ. And hypothetically the UK will try and establish trade agreements with NZ/Austin FIRST, and not the US at all, and use the Commonwealth for leverage into the TPP.
It seems that claiming Boilrig will directly, personally profit is premature based on the info available, but he outright admits he expects to indirectly benefit on account of Friendship With EU Ended NZ Is My New Best Friend For Some Reason.
Yep, basically that.
The UK/US trade deals is ages away and relies on the UK wrecking its own standards and rules, which I don't see happening, meaning they will go to the commonwealth for trade deals due to common law and common standards. They will most likely use other countries to leverage themselves into the TPP if they feel they can get anything out of that shitty deal.
But I expect my country and others to benefit from the UK leaving the EU. Mostly NZ trade is agriculture, meaning we are in conflict with the French over the EU trade deal anyway as that was the last thing that came up before we signed onto trade talks. So we're better off signing a deal with the UK within a couple years, than maybe 10 with the EU.
With China, I'm hoping with the UK now free of the EU, it will be forced to upscale its military in light of now having to do trade deals across the planet and actively take part in foreign policy and with that more active fleets in the region in efforts to protect shipping lanes from the eventual blockages from the chinese.
While the EU is nice and all, I don't like it, but I won't deny I don't see its benefits, at this point in time we can't rely on it to step into a role of true foreign policy, as I pointed out a while back, with all the issues the EU faces, the only thing Europe currently cares about is Europe and until that changes, the EU cannot be relied upon.
you mean like the harder border that NI is going to get if brexit happens whether they like it or not which will ultimately cause The Troubles 2: Electric Boogaloo
Sabotaging an allied county to keep the Chinese from owning you, great strategy.

Neither side wants to put down a hard border, but considering theres already basically a border there, a political one, even with the risk of the troubles, is easier to place that border than putting a fence down the border of Scotland. They can have their independence vote as long as they, like the UK has/will/is, accept the economic downturn associated with it.
Better strategy than the current one of 'let's just wait out the chinese, they'll open their borders for investment, they'll be our best friends! you'll see! - EU Commission'.
Your political posturing is as Ill informed as I stated previously
i legit don't understand, didn't you keep telling everybody that the UK would benefit from this for months on end?
or have you always been full of shit
He only does keeping his dumb wasteful British otherkin delusions think this deal would benefiting their country all he want even (I think) he likely didn't born there.
lmao sorry dude but there isn't going to be an Eastern Fleet 2.0. Britain has zero fucking hope of becoming a naval force of consequence in South East Asia, even less if Brexit goes through
Yeah, no shit, it isn't going to be US style full battlegroup, however I can see them becoming more active within the region with new trade deals.
"Your suffering is my benefit."
I'm sure Brits will love to hear that.
“we”
you dont even live in the UK, you won’t have to live with the disastrous consequences of no deal, so quit your posturing. No deal is verifiably the worst option so stop rooting for it.
On the whole, I agree with you, but not all that many countries have aircraft carriers, and we are due to have two by 2020, so we're of minor consequence if something did happen, although we'd have to ally with the Americans and French if it came to it.
Erm, why on Earth would Britain send nuclear-armed subs to NZ? Why is that a good idea? NZ is kinda irrelevant in warfare, and Jacinda Ardern is not dumb, so she's unlikely to expand the scope of your military.
This song was written for tosspots like Boilrig. Well, if Boilrig was actually British.

Backpedal.
Forst you you said they’d have more incentive to have military presence to protect shipping lanes. Now you say “more active in trade deals”.
backpedal.
"'the suffering' as some may call it, that you voted for is to my benefit for the security of the free world."
"we" as in everyone.
I mean in general against any vessel that is nuclear powered or holds nuclear weaponry, we never recovered the relationship with the Americans after that.
That isn't a backpedal, both are correct.
and that is why you're an awful person
let's support a bad decision that will ruin an entire nation and all its citizens because I will profit from it
I guess that's your moral argument to make money
Implying that NZ, for the British, is worth eventually going to war with China over, or even maintaining any sizeable naval presence nearby just in case.
Or that China will just randomly blockade your arses because... they don't like sheep?
"Fuck world trade, the one reason our economy is as good as it is, let's go fuck with them Kiwis :DDDDDDD"
--Literally nobody in the Chinese government, ever.
Stop huffing glue and put down that Tom Clancy book.
What's been established to you again and again and again, in spite of you not ever reading a single word anyone ever gives you, is that the EU will not be hugely affected, while the UK's position in the global market will be weakened immensely.
Your blatant lies are disgusting.
Just stop giving the miserable sack of shit the attention he so obviously craves.
