Hahahahaha you are so fucking pathetic it's hilarious.
Brett's entering the room
He looks absolutely terrrified
Tell me, would you be okay someone who abuses you in a position of power? Would the same be said of any individual who did harm to someone you cared about?
I can feel the nerves from here. I got anxious from the moment he walked in
Wow. He's only just begun talking and I already think he's full of shit
It sounds like he's reading off a script. I know Ford probably did too but at least it sounded genuine. Brett sounds like he's reading his flash cards verbatim
"My name has been dragged through the mud, PERMANENTLY." I'm glad, you fucking predator.
Man he's coming out aggressive, not exactly the best way to approach being accused of sexual assault
How many times is he going to repeat the words "Think about that...." ?
The same man that investigated Clinton for his sex scandal doesn't like it when people do it to him.
You're assuming he's capable of empathy. My personal experience has shown me multiple times that some people are literally incapable of empathy.
It's like he took notes from Trump's mannerisms. It doesn't even feel like he's trying to explain himself, it feels like he's just saying "you gotta believe me! You gotta!" Over and over

So now he's claiming the Clintons are trying to take revenge.
Brett is known for being adversarial, compared to Merrick Garland who has written 15 court dissents in 21 years while Brett has written 17 in ten years.
He really is a partisan hack.
The Clintons? What?
Now he's bringing up his family
Ok maybe I abused those women but did you see Clintons emails?
How the hell is he tearing up now? Monotone, aggressive, tearful... Is he going to go through any other emotions before the end of his opening speech?
Don't you see, man? This is all the Clinton Deep State rejecting his nomination using any and all bells and whistles they can get their frothy lips around!! Also: Screaming at the top of your lungs about you being a victim and how you'll 'get those who did you wrong back' when you're accused of being an angry man who doesn't respect people isn't a good look.
"I mean no ill will towards Doctor Ford, but she's also a plant in a conspiracy to ensure I won't be voted through" fuck off
I feel like Brett had to take that moment to process just how much his sexual assaults doomed him so many years later.
Tears up, chokes, voice shakes about his daughter.... Right back into monotonous talking with none of the choking or shakiness lingering. It's like his papers say (tear up here) on it
Real sincerely-seen tears come unprovoked after someone legitimately tries to hold them back. A manipulator forces them forward to rub into your face and - just as quick - puts them back. Tears often also come with quiet mourning rather than righteous indignation. He's doing himself no favors here.
From Oliver Roeder covering for 538 “The Supreme Court must never be viewed as a partisan institution. The Justices on the Supreme Court do not sit on opposite sides of an aisle.” — Brett Kavanaugh, Sept. 4, 2018.
Usually the ones who try to hold back their tears are the genuine ones. Compared to the crocodile tears Kavanaugh is doing.

Second round of tears getting prepped while he talks about his dad.
