Even so, however, he knows he got blackout drunk and he knows he got drunk enough to be blackout. He just doesn't want to believe he did it if he truly doesn't remember doing it.
He's going to coaching his daughters' basketball team again.
if this is true he's probably getting confirmed.
"he doesn't remember it so it OBVIOUSLY never ever happened..."
No one who surrounds himself with young women could possibly be a molester

He is stuck in a loop. The robot's mask is slipping.
I don't think this hearing is going to accomplish anything of substance. I feel like if we want to bring it to a close there needs to be a real investigation. How are we supposed to prove anything by a hearing? The Republicans are gonna say she's wrong and the Democrats are gonna say he's wrong and we'll just end up with a political smear fest. I don't think it's gonna stop the Republicans from trying to push the guy through, it's just gonna give Dems something to point at for years to come.
Allegations should be investigated. Not turned into political theater.
Lol didn't think about this from 538 coverage again from Julia Wulfe
Kavanaugh highlights that he has had several female law clerks. The Guardian has previously reported that it may have been important to him that those women had a certain “look.”
just watching this guy ""spill his heart out"" just reeks of narcissistic behavior. Reminds me how my mom would attempt to guilt trip people. Where she'd would bring up the most random of shit to make you feel sorry for her/make you out into being the asshole. That and also the crocodile tears.
ALL IN I'M ALL IN
I WOULD'VE BEEN HERE THE NEXT DAY
This yelling in anger at Feinstein is not going to mix well with his earlier statement that he more or less will be holding a vendetta against the Democrats.
beeeeer
footballl
women!
This seems like the most realistic scenario. He probably doesn't remember it since it was so long ago and thought nothing of it since, "that's just what the guys did back in the day." Victims are much more likely to remember it since it affects them for the rest of their life.
Is what he said about an FBI investigation being little more than relaying interviews to the Senate true?
I like beer. I drank beer. I still drink beer. We drank beer. We were too young, but we drank beer. I still drink beer. My friends drank beer. We liked beer. We still like beer.
This isn't a trial. The Democrats aren't a prosecution setting forth to prove Kavanaugh is guilty of a crime. The point isn't that Kavanaugh did or did not sexually assault these women, it's that there are so many better contenders for a vacant Supreme Court seat but this is the one the President once so Republicans want to push him through come hell or high water. Republicans can say she is wrong, but that seem weak when their entire behavior during this debacle has been to rush his nomination as soon as possible. They clearly believe these claims have merit, which is frankly good enough for me, and should be good enough for you as well.
I don't know what you expect when the president nominates someone with a history of credible sexual assault claims to be a Supreme Court justice.
So basically, Kavanaugh's M Bison.

The point of the hearing to encourage Congress to act, or at the very least suspend the confirmation proceedings until an investigation has taken place. I think it's important to have the hearing simply for the sake of getting this incident to the public, because whether the assault happened or not that way Kavanaugh's nomination has proceeded is absolutely shameful and the GOP should be shamed for trying to rush his confirmation through on such a controversial and awful judge.
Since it was so long ago I'd assume all they have is interviews.
If anything this hearing has clearly shown that this guy is partisan as fuck, he should not be in the Supreme Court.
He's so unhinged and angry. I don't think its a good look for him if he's trying to defend against accusations that paint his character in a similar light.
Is it just me or is he now acting like the exact kind of cocky jock fuck that he's been accused of being.
Since it wouldn't be a criminal investigation, the FBI would gather information and then pass it on to the Senate, likely the Senate Judiciary Committee rather then the full Senate.
Interviews he and Republicans don't want to happen. Which is why his old pal Judge is literally hiding in a friend's beach house and Republicans don't want to subpoena him to testify.
Polaroids might exist - also potentially someone might've kept a guestbook; guestbook signing was a big thing then.
Now that he's under pressure his true colors are showing
"Lets see here, Rapist, frat-boy, extremely angry, mentally unfit, narcissitic, spouts conspiracy theories, yep he's good" - The GOP
