What does it being Obama's economy, which it is, have to do with this? He (Obama) presided over the growth from shambles to exceptionality, and Trump gets to preside over exceptionality, for now. When it does fail, whether Obama made it or Trump made it, the people CURRENTLY in charge will be the only ones who can actually affect the severity of the consequences.

Any time Trump takes credit for the economy everyone says that it's Obama's economy. Everyone who I know in my personal life seems to think this. If there is an economic collapse then everyone will blame Trump, but how can you do that while saying it's Obama's economy? If Obama's actions in regards to the economy are this long term then it's fair to say that any economic collapse is also his responsibility. You can't pick and choose and you need to remain consistent otherwise you're just being dishonest because of political bias.

In any case if economic collapse were imminent Trump would probably be left with the same choice as Obama: Bail out the banks or let them burn. I pray for the latter because too long the robber barons have had their cake and been able to eat it too.

It's like a momentum thing, like driving a car. It isn't Obama's fault that he drove us up to 100 mph and then when Trump took over we smashed into a wall. It could be Obama's fault, sure, but Trump has variously long amounts of time to react to that wall (monetary and fiscal policies or some shit)

It's more like, the economy has been getting better but that's part of an upward trend, the majority of which happened during the Obama administration. If the economy crashes it will be mostly because of or exacerbated by Trump's fiscal policy. But Seano doesn't care about logic, reason, or cause or effect, he just wants to call liberals hypocrites. Any explanation will go in one ear and out the other.
