• Passion, chaos as Kavanaugh confirmation vote nears

The actual vote is tomorrow. Unless there's some miracle however collins is voting yes and that means manchin is voting yes.
there are no moderate republicans the entire party is pure, undistilled evil
there won't be a civil war, it will if anything be a total walkout from the federal government of all democrats and those that oppose. Blue states would stop cutting checks and withhold funds for the feds at that point as well but I can't see a civil war happening there isn't a clear cut geographical difference like the north and the south and a massive military advantage to the fed. No I wasn't betting on republicans being evil I just was annoyed people would think flake had some sort of heart. he's like john kasich, too scared of democrats and too timid to actually defy republicans which is fucking pathetic. Its either be with the republicans or be against them there is no room to say both are wrong.
Remember how he threatened revenge on Democrats when he's on the court. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVDZDSoxtJU Remember how Graham said Democrats better "watch out for there nominees" in terms of accusations of sexual assault. https://youtu.be/q0Y2uIrkJrY?t=90
Gaslight Obstruct Project
Like I said elsewhere, next time the Democrats have power, it's time to pack the court. The Republicans want to play hardball with the supreme court, then we'll have to play hardball with the supreme court. You don't bring a knife to a gunfight and if the supreme court is no longer an impartial institution focused on upholding the law of the land, then it will be the duty of the politicians who care about what's right to return it to such an institution, regardless of what that might take.
Frankly this is why every politician should be up for re election every two years. They're given a system that enables them to act for those who bribe them instead of those who vote them in. I don't care if it's hectic, sometimes you need hectic to keep corruption out of play.
>Misses the point entirely >Brags about "~emotional intelligence!" I didn't. Both of my senators voted against him, and I voted against Trump. Don't try and pin this on us.
The fact he has evidently lied and that the rape investigation is being effectively sabotaged are what people are upset about, not the allegations themselves specifically. For someone as "smart intelligent" as you this seems to be a hard concept to grasp.
I find it funny you're claiming to have "the most smart intelligence" when you've clearly shown you don't know how to read.
I too am not trying to be rude but AHAHAHA
I don't think someone with emotional intelligence would rate Death-trooper's response to the quote from lifehole's post [which is quoting an excerpt of Orrin Hatch mocking sexual assault survivors] as Baby. I think someone with emotional intelligence, even if they were skeptical of Ford's story, would at least still appreciate why others found it problematic that sexual assault survivors were being talked down to and mocked, instead of happily approving of Hatch's response that "owned the libs!!".
lol
for the 20th time you dense skin tag it's about brett kavanaugh showing clear bias and the emotional temperament of a teenager merely because he got accused of something (that he says never happened and yet he doesn't want to allow an FBI investigation), it has nothing to do with unproven rape allegations anymore. And really we all know why he was dancing around submitting to a full FBI investigation, since if it hadn't been purposely hindered and obstructed by the Groany Old Party it would have probably gone on long enough for him to be dropped from the running for SCOTUS entirely Your political party is a joke that does not believe in due process, constantly does their best work trying to disenfranchise voters or strip rights, and regularly shows active contempt for anyone who doesn't toe the line. GOP republicans would sell you out in the blink of an eye if it meant it would benefit them. That's what this is about.

But you know just keep making up shit. How ironic
whatever, you're defending a terrible decision they made so your opinion is just as bad as theirs
Collins brought up how Kav votes with Merrick Garland 93% of the time on the DC circuit. If they vote together so often why nominate the guy proved to be a partisan asshole.

To be fair to Jouska, you have to have a very high IQ and a very large amount of emotional intelligence to understand why a judge who perjured himself and swore to use his power to attack his political enemies should be on the supreme court.
Hey listen, you should stop now because this post is really embarrassing. Just step back from this thread and keep your superior intellect to yourself.

lol no i get that. what you're still not understanding is the reason why people here don't want him, you are acting like it's all about the rape accusations and political bias and willfully ignoring the very real things brett kavanaugh actually said in front of a court of his democrat and republican peers.
Why would you even say something like that unless you were trolling. This is why I don't get into text conversations like this because it ends up feeling like a troll regardless of the poster's intentions.
No one with intelligence needs to brag of their intelligence.
Jouska you're about as dense as a black hole For someone with 'the most smart intelligence' you're having a real fucking hard time with basic reading comprehension. Tape allegations are not what people are talking about, it's about his temperament and behaviour ina hearing. As a judge, regardless of what he's accused of, he should be calm and collected. And allow a full FBI investigation. Neither of which happened
I don't remember Sotomayer going on a tear about the Koch brothers in her confirmation
We should expect him to stay calm and collected because that's what a professional does. It's especially how a supreme court nominee should compose themselves.
Probably because he's supposed to be professional? Remember how Ford freaked out and yelled and threatened when taking about how she got raped and had her name dragged through the dirt? Oh wait... She didn't
It's because you can't read and then process the things you've read.
