Not appoint him???
Stop trying to change the subject of the conversation. If a supreme court appointment had said "I will do everything in my power to fuck the republicans over" you would find them unfit for the position. His admitted plans to be openly hostile towards one political party, along with McConnel's complete bullshit leading up to this, is all the cassus beli the Democrats need to begin playing hardball with the Supreme Court. You'd best hope that the US is a one-party state going forwards, because otherwise we're going to be seeing a court-packing the next time the democrats get control, and they have every right to after the vile shit the republicans have pulled over the course of the past few years. Vote democrat, folks. Vote in your primaries and vote in the generals.
I'm registering to vote back home in Florida where my vote matters more. I still hold residency there so my partner and I are both casting absentee votes there instead of voting in CA. If you live in any place where there's even a slight possibility a republican could take office, you owe it to yourself and the good of the future of this country to do everything you can to keep these hyperpartisan fucks out of office
I live in a 100% blue part of 100% red AL, I thought the district I live in could go blue but alas the incumbent has around a 98% chance of winning.
I live in the reddest part of New Jersey where a writer for a neo-nazi website is running for Congress. The GOP pulled support from him, but I fear he may still end up my congressman. Help
Coincidentally many of those people went on to vote for Trump and then disappeared afterwards.
