Kavanaugh allegedly vandalized a classmate's friend's truck while drunk in 1986

I mean, he said it himself multiple times;
"I like beer. I've always liked beer. I drank beer when I was probably younger than the legal age, but we drank beer. My friends drank beer. Sometimes I drank too much. Sometimes others drank too much. We liked beer. I still like beer."
few minutes later
"I've never drunk too much beer that it'd make me black out. I mean, I drank enough beer to make me go to sleep, but I've never blacked out! I like beer!"
several more minutes later
"No, I have never drunk enough to make me black out. I have a weak stomach. I can't drink too much. Have I told you about spaghetti with ketchup? No? Well, it's about my weak stomach. I can't drink too much."
and finally...
"I like beer. I like drinking beer. I always liked drinking beer. My friends also liked drinking beer. Do you drink beer, senator? What do you like drinking? No, what do you like drinking, senator? I want to know!"
And remember, his innocence has already been proven by this:
"Look me in the eyes and answer me this question; Do you believe in God?"
"Yes, sir."
"Did you ever gang rape any women?"
"No, sir."
Obviously, he's never done anything wrong. Case closed.

I kinda agree, I done silly shit in my past which I now regret, but then I don't think he should be on the supreme court for the sexual assault (which he tried to cover up before it went public) and general extremist views anyway. This (and the assumed lying about it) is just the topping on the cake.
The guy is scum.
This whole bullshit started with you constantly questioning her hearing.
Why does this matter at all, beyond him lying about getting drunk?
People do dumb shit in high school. If I didn't know better I'd say this is an attempt to reduce the heat for the real crime - raping somebody - by making it look like drms are being petty.
I think we're just demonstrating this man's character here, all these allegations and details paint a picture of a man who you do not want in a position of power. You can say "well, we already knew this and people have accused him of worse" but ultimately all allegations like this do is lend credibility to our characterization of him. It's not really petty or harmful, we're building a complete picture, and if you're appointing a guy to one of the highest positions of power for life you probably want a complete picture.
Actually they're harping on you because you keep going "he's a blatant liar and shouldn't be on the Supreme Court BUT!!!!" Instead of actually acknowledging what they're saying. You're doing the same shit a lot of rightwingers who have been ostracized on the site have done in the past where they say one thing and act differently so everyone automatically assumes they mean the worst thing possible because it's usually what they mean. If that's not what you mean then you need to take a step back and examine the way you conduct yourself on the forums. Otherwise you're just going to keep ending up in situations like this where you get dogpiled despite claiming to support the popular view.
Apologies for getting a little crazy yesterday guys. Hadn't slept for a stupid amount of time and had a couple of beers and it seems reading back I was just out for an argument. My bad.
I can think of one reason Resonant would think being 22 years old would still allow for "High school antics". It rhymes with "smelled whack for six beers".
It's explain a lot of things about their posts by.
