That's great but I never said christians were assholes.
I said bigots were bigots, people who act like assholes are assholes.
That's what I said.
You HAVE to twist that into the most vindictive version of what I said possible, to have any legs to stand on.
But the problem is, I, and everyone else here, can see the lazy intellectual games you're playing and we don't want to participate in what amounts to little more than you trying to say "GOTCHA" over and over again like a child
Your aunt's name is Christian, loves Lettuce, Guacamole, Bacon and Tomato sandwiches, and has a son whose last name is Gay?
and why are you bringing Faith into this, where did you put her
why are you boiling her alive
There, am I winning the "missing the point" game yet?
And you keep acting like any left wing goverment is likely to just usurp all the power they were granted and abuse people.
Based on what? Your fascination with right wing strong men leaders?

Welcome to the world of homonyms .
Some stores is a part of all stores in case you didn't know.
Yeah, no. Don't let them move the goal post.
People pretending to not understand why governement oppression of minorities a bad thing know exactly what they are doing and what they are supporting.
You guys aren't fooling anyone.
a set of beliefs or aims that guide someone's actions.
Oh nice way to cut the context of that out.
If you kept the next line in, you'd see that the above is also a definition of creed.
I don't think being christian makes you an asshole, I think being a bigot, and acting like a bigot, makes you a bigot.
But hey, twist away, not one person is falling for your shit lol
It's the only thing keeping the numerous communities of uneducated fucking rednecks in of the rotten, diseased asshole of the country we call the deep south from doing so, yeah.
You don't seem to understand how laws work.
Them passing a law to allow businesses to discriminate against LGBT folks doesn't stop them from further down the line passing a theoretical law that forces businesses to discriminate against LGBT folk. And there being a law protecting LGBT folk from discrimination from businesses cannot just be turned into a law that forces businesses to discriminate against LGBT folk.
But that version of creed is not what I had in mind when I said creed. I'm talking about creeds of Christianity.
hey
hey
listen
I'm not sure if you know this
but

we have access to google too
Bigots dress up the fact that they want the right to discriminate as "religious freedom" so they can strawman like their opposition is attacking all of religion while they take a false moral high ground and try to convince others that "religion is under attack" to rally them to the cause.
Nobody here is saying all Christians are bigots. Bigots are bigots, and coincidentally they often use religion to try to gain leverage and generate outrage.
Governments change. You gave away all power to one administration and the next administration has different views. What do you do now?
At least the government is elected. The businesses, whom you are giving the power to discriminate against any minority they please, are not.
I love Assassin's system of Christian or other religious belief
I just want to say for the record that anyone who legitimately believes that removing the laws that forbid businesses from discriminating based on race/gender/sexuality/religion is in any shape or form a good or reasonable thing is with utmost certainty a complete moron no matter what they say.
With that logic, you may as well not have any government whatsoever.
And I how your limit of "okay NOW we're giving the government too much power" is "Discrimination based on harmless factors is illegal".
A law preventing businesses from discriminating against LGBT folk cannot be used by a successive government to discriminate against LGBT folk.
Stop with the vague substanceless platitudes about power.
So when we use homonyms/homographs now, we are using every definition. When I say I love the taste of oranges, it means I both love the taste of the fruit known as orange, and I also love the taste of every shade of orange.
Those people most likely have never been discriminated against. Except maybe for being huge assholes but that just comes with the territory.
Do you have a point to make or are you just going to argue about the dictionary for another ten posts?
I'm not the one who brought it's definition into question.
Yes, but you don't have to deal with those businesses.
So when someone is shitposting, are they pooping in a letter, sealing it ,then mailing it out the the intended recipient?
Or can we derive meaning from the context in which we are in?
Vote.
You're literally putting your hands up and saying "I don't want to have a government that actually does anything" because you don't know how our fucking countries work
You're being deliberately obtuse. It was obvious to anyone who's intellectually honest what HumanAbyss meant by "creed." Quit arguing semantics and contribute to the actual topic at hand.
Absolutely not. You must mean this 4th definition, can't possible be the primary use of the word!
When you use a definition you should be aware of all of them, that's all we're saying.
For someone who continually plays victim when people use words you don't like, you sure have a hard fucking time understanding how they fit into sentences.
"haha you idiots gave your government the power to make discrimination based on race illegal u reap what you sow"
-some actual person on facepunch
I'm the one who said creed, not HumanAbyss.
