from what i remember he was kinda nutty, we never saw him much and he a lot of junk in his yard. we basically sat in our temp house across the street from it and watched it deteriorate over time, even made a few bets when it was gonna come down.
Hasn't been much better her in Florida, either. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211108/8e54bf70-742a-4173-97ef-299d848a73e1/image.png
"shredding the constitution" Trump is literally trying to overturn the 14th amendment RIGHT NOW
"Stop Stacey Abrams from turning Georgia into California" lmao. It's so dumb it'd be funny if it didn't work.
It's actually an improvement on some areas of Alabama. UN poverty researchers visiting one of the poorest regions in America, Lowndes County, Alabama, noted that: Many homes could not afford to build sewage systems, and relied PVC pipes that drained into open sewage pits. Sewage regularly overflowed from these pits during rainfalls, and even seeped back into the homes nearby. Hookworm, a parasite thought to be eradicated in the developed world, was detected in 19 of 55 individuals tested.
This calls to mind a quote from Ross Scott: "There are no good reasons. Only legal ones."
Love how they use this because they legit just google'd "rundown village" and used the first appealing result. The fucking cheek of these bastards, Jaywick doesn't even look as bad as some of the ghetto areas the US has.
This reads like the kind of junk mail you get from the wackjob fringe parties in my country that no one takes seriously.
34.5% of Lowndes County has hookworm, and 31.4% live below the poverty line. This is actually way better then the civil rights era in which over 65% of the county lived below the poverty line. This is more or less a trend across the entire Black Belt.
I've seen places that look worse than that, so improvement?

It's especially insidious considering the 14th Amendment is way way more then just citizenship, it's why Americans have the civil rights they do, and it made the BIll of Rights actually apply to the states.
There's an attack ad around here about "she's a liberal democrat and also a cage fighter, here's some video of her beating someone up in a cage match". Which honestly just makes me want to vote for her more. although the ad's also like "she wants to increase crime and sex trafficking" lol okay sure, sure But the constitution doesn't apply to non-citizens. Obviously. You know what you should worry about? The government taking away your god-given right to fire or refuse service to someone for absolutely no reason beyond "my religion". (which somehow doesn't count as interfering with other people's freedom of religion? somehow?) And putting mild background checks on people trying to get deadly weapons. And the populace being able to stop buying your products if you go on racist rants on Twitter.
Can I just say how disturbing these ads are, the fact that these are legal to any degree is beyond belief.
I'm surprised it doesn't talk about defunding the military and allowing Russia to invade us. Then again, I don't know if defunding the military is a hot ticket issue for democrats anymore.
Progressives will stand against it but the Democratic party as a whole has consistently voted for raising military funding.
This is what I don't understand. Our military is hilariously bloated as it is. Our budget is like 9 times larger than Russia's Official military budget and almost 3 times larger than China's. I don't understand who we are fighting unless we plan on invading literally everyone. That money could be spent better somewhere else.
I guess they're taking hints from Russia's "vote Putin or you will be legally forced to marry a gay man" ad campaign.
"Stop Abrams from turning Georgia into California"? So stop it from improving significantly, economically and socially?
Ooh ooh! Are we sharing attack ads? Check out what came in my mailbox a week or so ago. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/226032/3e4bca29-0e42-46dd-ade7-98d5b415bded/image.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/449557654885498902/502217768863662080/image.jpg Man, they really are just ticking boxes at this point. What's next, reptillians? Martians? Ooh! Maybe satan will show up for a coffee if dems win.
For 2020 Dems need to put out attack ads that just claim Trump wants to Holocaust everyone who isn't a rich pussy-grabber, that his idea of creating jobs is locking up anyone who isn't white so jobs are left for whites. Also he's going to collapse the economy and put America into a second Great Depression like it's 1929. Who cares if it's true? The Republicans have set the precedent that the truth is a hindrance.
"I cain't believe people are writin' such horse-hockey about our belov'd president!" "What? OH! I thought we were taking turns submitting fan-fiction for public scrutiny!"
Just make shit up about Republicans until they make attack ads illegal They have a history of acting against their own self interest if it achieves an immediate goal
Democrats don't fall for obvious bullshit like that, it wouldn't work. America's Republicans are motivated by irrational fear in a way that most Democrats aren't.
This has already been going on, I think the democrats started the whole attack ad thing, Republicans are just doing the same. The entire 2016 Election after Trump got the Republican nomination was just the Democrats trying to make Trump look unhinged and crazy, no side was talking about their own platform. And it's going to be even worse in 2020 where both sides are just going to point fingers at one another and call each other the spawn of Satan while never really addressing how to solve a-lot of the problems we have today.
Are you serious Attack ads did not start in 2016
It's kinda like saying Obama made the hurricane hit where the Republicans were meeting in 2012, that makes people think "If that's true, I'm gonna vote for the guy who can control the fucking weather."
Well fuck, no wonder we've had all those awful hurricanes since Trump got into office! We booted the guy who was preventing them out to the curb!
