People keep saying Feeble Oaf does this rating shit just to get a rise out of people.
I'm just confused that he gets upset when people get rised by him.
No you see what happened is Feeble Oaf actually got trolled into getting himself banned.
I'd say it's time to resume discussion of the thread topic before the mods decide to idiot cull everyone
Actually while we are on the topic of caring about ratings the greatest idiot cull was when Garry permabanned everyone who rated his one post dumb.
You literally categorized yourself as such
The Gamergate controversy stemmed from a harassment campaign conducted primarily through the use of the hashtag #GamerGate. The controversy centered on issues of sexism and progressivism in video game culture. Gamergate is used as a blanket term for the controversy as well as for the harassment campaign and actions of those participating in it.
In August 2014, the harassment campaign targeted several women in the video game industry; notably game developers Zoë Quinn and Brianna Wu, as well as feminist media critic Anita Sarkeesian. After Eron Gjoni, Quinn's former boyfriend, wrote a disparaging blog post about her, #gamergate hashtag users falsely accused Quinn of an unethical relationship with journalist Nathan Grayson. Harassment campaigns against Quinn and others included doxing, threats of rape, and death threats.
Gamergate proponents ("Gamergaters") said that they were a movement, but had no official leaders, spokespeople, or manifesto. Gamergate supporters organized anonymously or pseudonymously on online platforms such as 4chan, Internet Relay Chat, Twitter, and Reddit. Statements claiming to represent Gamergate have been inconsistent and
contradictory, making it difficult for commentators to identify goals and motives. Gamergate supporters said there was unethical collusion between the press and feminists, progressives, and social critics. These concerns have been dismissed by commentators as trivial, conspiracy theories, groundless, or unrelated to actual issues of ethics. As a
result, Gamergate has often been defined by the harassment its supporters engaged in. Gamergate supporters have frequently responded to this by denying that the harassment took place or by falsely claiming that it was manufactured by the victims.
The controversy has been described as a manifestation of a culture war over cultural diversification, artistic recognition, and social criticism in video games, and over the social identity of gamers. Many supporters of Gamergate oppose what they view as the increasing influence of feminism on video game culture; as a result, Gamergate is often viewed as a right-wing backlash against progressivism. Industry responses to the harassment campaign have focused on ways to minimise harm and prevent similar events. Gamergate has led figures both inside and outside the industry to focus on methods of addressing online harassment.

So yeah how about them neo-nazis eh?
I condemn all racism, but some of them are very fine people.
What
Aside from stitring up the hive and giving a few people something to laugh about it's quite sad seeing these people waste time and resources on something that will do little to sway voting stances.
A gamergate (/ˈɡæmərˌɡeɪt/) is a mated worker ant that is able to reproduce sexually, i.e. lay fertilized eggs that will develop as females. Gamergates are restricted to taxa where the workers have a functional sperm reservoir ('spermatheca'). In various species, gamergates reproduce in addition to winged queens (usually upon the death of the original foundress), while in other species the queen caste has been completely replaced by gamergates. In gamergate species, all workers in a colony have similar reproductive potentials, but as a result of physical interactions, a dominance hierarchy is formed and only one or a few top-ranking workers can mate (usually with foreign males) and produce eggs. Subsequently however, aggression is no longer needed as gamergates secrete chemical signals that inform the other workers of their reproductive status in the colony.
Depending on the species, there can be one gamergate per colony (monogyny) or several gamergates (polygyny). Most gamergate species have colonies with a few hundred or fewer workers.
He's a neo-nazi. He wisely avoids posting in Polidicks, so he doesn't get a new asshole torn for him on the regular, but his rating history has proven it. Amusingly enough, his join date is not long after a certain other infamous user was perma'd.
I don't get it.
Why are you replying to me with wikipedia articles?
In the spirit of trying to get this thread back on track after that idiotic derail, I am attempting to bring back the topic of discussion to ethics in video game journalism, the most important political issue that is currently affecting voters.
