US Election Results 2018 - A blue wave in a sea of piss

That's "Supply-side Jesus" to you, mister.
I'm pretty pissed that I didn't get a sticker in my vote-by-mail packet
Even more insultingly, there was an image of the sticker on the back of the packet.
Obviously your only recourse is to cut out the image and stick it to your shirt with tape.
Did my part in Indiana today along with my girlfriend. Was just as depressing as in 2016, a place filled with boomers yelling at the staff, who were also boomers about how to skip everything and vote straight ticket, the whole thing taking place in an evangelical church.
Hope it goes well though, I know Indiana isn't as nationally important as many others, but I do live here, so I'd rather see it not go further to shit and maybe experience some growth for once.
a little late cuz i had to go to the gym but this is the lame ass sticker i was given in ky

while i was driving to the gym i saw someone walking down the street with one of the stickers that @Durandal posted so i guess my precinct is just fucking lame
I'm about to go before work.
I highly recommend looking up your district on ballotpedia and checking your Libertarian and Green party candidates' bio pages for memes.
Inb4 the thread locks at 1000 posts and it turns out you can't award the coins in a locked thread
Well the corporations haven't exactly been doing super hot under a president who enacts trade wars at a whim, insults trade partners every other Thursday, and who keeps fucking with the stock markets by claiming things that aren't actually happening.
Limiting his power is actually, for once, in their favour.
because I'm a fuckup who was traveling between states recently, I ended up not being able to vote
I'll give out coins to those who vote though. Good stuff, my dudes. 👌
Polling places are slammed here, trying to get off work early to wait in line.
The idea that a church can be a legal polling place is beyond me.
Apparently there was a thing on the ballot for my state called "Marcy's Law". I don't remember if I voted on it or not though. Apparently the vote isn't binding either because a Kentucky judge ruled that the law conflicted with the constitution and other Kentucky laws, as well as it not being well worded as to what you where voting for on the ballot (it was worded in such a way to make you feel like a shithead for voting no to it).

Thankfully I live in a heavy retirement community so they all voted early like responsible seniors. So my voting place was almost empty.
We use them as polling places over here, largely because they are generally politically uninvolved. They're some of the most neutral buildings in a lot of the towns and estates of the UK and usually pull double time as our community centres. Though they are still populated with Tory voting old people.
I can see why there might be some concerns with this in the US considering how intertwined the "Church" is with the Republican party at this point. Eugh.
I'm so glad I voted early. Seeing pictures of huge lines at the polling places. When I went there was like 15 people there.
@hak who is also from ky posted about it earlier in the thread. i voted no on principle of the incredibly loaded ballot question which any high school statistics student would tell you is shit. (also because it undermines due process)
The primaries and presidential election were also held in a church in my town, but I also didn't see any churches on the list of polling places.
just look at this fuckin garbage

(shaking cuz I'm so angry obv)
I had a quick look and apparently there's a rider on it to make it way more difficult to get out of prison early :|
Looks quite nasty overall.
Depends where you voted. My area had the boring stickers but I've seen some from other districts that look different. Nothing super unique, though. We should have a cowboy or bullrider or space shuttle on it. Or something like "Howdy, I voted, pard'ner!"
I love the irony of this because of the old anti-communism slogans.
I'm voting yes to every ballot measure this year here in North Dakota, but I'm mostly voting for Measure 3. It annoys the hell outta me that I cannot vote third party, and I'm sure as hell not voting D-NPL after the shit they have been pulling in the recent weeks.
I mean there are people out there who wear these kind of shirts.

You live in the most powerful state to control the senate and you throw it away because they have "pulled" something? It better have been pretty fucking bad my dude.
Oh how the turn tables.
Where is liberty prime when you need him?
B+ for effort
Apparently they're against marijuana legalization and hunting.
They attempted to threaten hunters by saying that voting could get their licenses revoked.

I saw mention of this before, but how are ND state lawmakers going to affect your out-of-state licenses?
