US Election Results 2018 - A blue wave in a sea of piss

I never watched The Office so it was a wild stab
I thought your voting record was - for all intents and purposes - sealed? It doesn't seem ethical or, you know, legal for someone to threaten legal or outside action for you voting a certain way. Unless this is just 'Democrats want to push legislation that could invalidate your out of state hunting licenses' I don't really see how that is a legitimate ad.
Even then I would assume there is more to it.
Why the hell would the Democrat party in North Dakota want people to NOT vote??? Is North Dakota bizzaro land where all the people that are typically apathetic are Republicans and the people that show up all the time are Democrats?
Just got back from voting dem across the board in Arizona, district 5.
There were a lot more people my age there vs 2016.
That makes me happy.
I work in my county's Board of Education, and our cafeteria is one of the polling places. There's been quite the buzz outside my door all day where people come in, and I've seen all types. Young and old, black and white, male and female. However this turns out, at least Democracy is happening today.
They dont want people not to vote, they want hunters not to vote.
Hunters are overwhelmingly conservative.
Almost all Hunter Ed classes here are ran by Pro-2A gunstores. As you can imagine, most of those tend to lean Republican.
I remember when this picture wasn't JPG raped, the internet sure moves fast
I went out and voted and I felt good first time voting :-)
I voted for people from different parties (not 100% rep or dem) because I looked into the candidates history in my area
Voted for the first time.
let's fuckin go bois
Gonna go vote with my wife in a about an hour, I live in a small town so it shouldn't be too packed, but I'm really happy there are a lot more young people here than in previous years. The town we live in is a tourist town and from the last year we've lived here I've met so many new young people that are ready to vote for new things, we literally just got the vote for broadband last year so I'm hopeful, even a lot of the older people I've met here are definitely going to vote democrat.
I saw more black and young people this year than ever before in my precinct. And that was at 10AM this morning!
I once saw a convincing argument from a Republican blogger that capitalism and Christianity/conservatism are ideologically at odds and the reason conservatives are ~pro-capitalism~ is because of the red scare and anti-communism rhetoric. He argued that unregulated capitalism cannot be compatible with true religious conservative values because of unregulated capitalisms sterile and unrelenting ability to put a price on everything including human lives and immoral behavior. He also argued that Capitalism favors large government because if lobbied and infiltrated correctly, can be your best asset for beating with your competitors. He went on to say he expects religious conservatives to start pushing back on capitalism now that the Communist enemy is no longer omnipresent. Which I suppose you can see with some attacks on Google and other tech companies. At the same time though I think we can see Republicans trying to revive a scare of socialism and the left to try and hold on to their capitalist interests and "donations."
That blogger eventually got accused of being a RINO and got ran out of town... He was arguing hard against Trump and eventually quit his blog here because he felt it was falling on deaf ears. I didn't agree with everything he said but he made a (not-insane) case and platform for the GOP. (Including climate change is real and a threat).
I can't find him but I'll keep looking and edit it in if I can... Anywho that's a bit off topic...
Voted in Indiana, District 7!

House: D 243 - 192 R
Senate: R 52 - 48 D
Wow that would be a very strange result. Ds getting that much in the house but it not affecting the senate?
House: R-201 D-231
Senate: R-51 D-49
Blown up to many different pieces, where else.

I'm in an independent/blue state, still voted to keep it that way. Don't be careless and assume it'll stay that way without your vote.
Vote for this guy Arizona

I voted around noon and the polling place was literally empty. Didn't get a sticker either
That dudes sense of style qualifies him for the job alone. I feel like I'm taken back to an 1880s prospecting site.
Maybe the real stickers are not the ones we wear but the friends we make along the way
not many people have so i'll be optimistic and yolo 238 50
It isn't counting my TN vote, but I'm...if only by half a year or so...in that age bracket.

Also, shitty TN sticker is shitty. Dunno where I'm actually gonna stick it.
