HOLY SHIT thats close. In the past it wasn't even remotely close for Barr.
Gotta keep in mind that districts are only now closing, and that it's not a good idea to make assumptions on a candidate until all districts have closed.

Yep, same here. Our stairs(!!) were missing this morning (we live in a second-story apartment) and we still found a way down to get out and vote.
I'm currently living at home after graduating from college to save money. Living with just my very conservative mother while Dad is overseas. She doesn't know I a not-Republican(she has her suspicions).
Basically me whenever a Republican loses their seat: "wow I can't believe they lost!"

If you're wondering why I don't voice my beliefs with my family well that's just an avenue I don't feel like I need to go down. Maybe someday. It's hard to reason with 10 years of Fox News conditioning in a way that doesn't end in a fight. My dad is a bit more open but still a Trump voting Republican. Though neither of them liked Trump at all in the primaries, they saw him as their only choice once he secured the ticket. As many conservatives did.
Fuck the house, fuckin' Senate chances doubled since voting started. Still just around 20%, but that's pretty crazy.
I think a good percentage of the country felt the same way. Seems like your folks are much more open about it if they're able to recognise this.

Looks good so far, Dems are making gains in Ohio, Virginia, and the Carolinas.

Well they were in favor of Ted Cruz(No surprise who they voted for in the midterm). Didn't like Trump's rhetoric and we're with Fox News when Fox was still against Trump. But after it was a done deal it was like switching a light on. Well Cruz didn't win and Trump is an asshole but he's the Republican nomination so we have to stand behind him because we can't let Hillary win. Once the conservative media machine saw it had no choice but to stand behind Trump, all the conservative Republicans followed suit and loosened their morals to allow themselves to look the other way from Trump's bullshit. Because we can't let them Democrats win. Hillary is corrupt and the Democrats want socialism and taxes and hate the Constitution.
And thats how people get caught up in it without realizing what's going on. I don't think the majority of Trump voters are bad people or white nationalists or whatever. They just got played and can't see that.
