I just want to see Texas Ted lose
Man, I really hope my district (VA-7) goes blue. It was sitting at 75%, red leading by ~4000, for the longest time, but just jumped to 92%, blue leading by 400 votes. I wasn't expecting Dems to take the Senate... but I think the country needs us to take the House, if we're going to have any chance of stopping the damage Trump is doing.
NYT has the vote count nearly neck and neck, there's just 0.7 difference in percentage.
Fox News is declaring that Democrats will control the house.
I don't understand why people are already crying doom and gloom. Yeah, Florida is a real disappointment, but otherwise the election is going how most everyone already predicted it. The Democrats taking the Senate was always the longest of longshots. The deck was absolutely stacked against them this time. It won't necessarily be the same in 2020.
Keep calm and carry on.
Even if the wave isn't there, please dear lord at least let Democrats get the House. Christ.
I really want to see Laura Kelly win Kansas gubernatorial and Cruz lose since Kansas voted for him in the primary. Brownback is a bad stain and Kobach is gross, but so far Kelly is up so I'm cautiously optimistic!

how are they declaring it this early? what model could they possibly be using?
Scanlon, in the new PA District 6(Delaware County) is leading by nearly 12 percentage points. Democrats are actually winning more areas than Republicans are and PA tends to be a very good indicator because we're a purple state if the Repubs hadn't constantly gerrymandered.
Country is still chock full of radical Christians in favor of bigotry tho
The usual Fox News model that involves words coming out of assholes.
Must be one of clay. I can't understand why they would call it now when there's still so much white on the graphic.
Robert Francis currently leading Rafael Edwards in Texas. 50.7 to 48.2 respectively.
He voted for Bolognese or whatever his name his, so being a jackboot-licking lemming is par for the course.
For my state ballot amendments on criminal electoral reforms (for overall proposed amendments 50/50 of them passed and failed) North Carolina Marsy's Law Crime Victims Rights Amendment (2018) (60.36 voted Yes) North Carolina Voter ID Amendment (2018) (53.76 voted Yes, darn) North Carolina Legislative Appointments to Elections Board Amend.. (62.19 voted No) https://ballotpedia.org/North_Carolina_Judicial_Selection_for_Midterm_Vacancies_Amendment_(2018) (67.10 voted No)
CNN declaring that Republicans will win the Senate.
Guys. No matter who wins or loses the votes, just remember that after tonight the election ads will be over, and that is a win for all of us.
I guess Fox is giving up and going home.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe they're doing it so they can say the Republicans mounted a heroic come back. Idk
Disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. The House is what matters at this point.
The presidential cycle will pick back up in January
I'M WITH HER
That is a weird way of saying Tomorrow...
Stop, my PTSD is flaring up from hearing that.
The most concerning thing to me tonight is that all these districts that went for Trump in 2016 are staying at almost exactly the same percentage now in these mid-terms. That means those folks have been completely unmoved by what Trump has done. Our country has a grave and serious problem as comes ethics and having sympathy for your fellow man.
