US Election Results 2018 - A blue wave in a sea of piss

Just got back from my polling place. I don't think I live in a very representative area (extremely blue and active polling district in a very blue region of a fairly red state) but all of the polling staff were saying that this is the most people they've ever seen voting, at least this early. My district alone had 100 absentee ballots sent in, and there was a line 20ish people long before the doors had even opened.
Let's speculate for a bit. Let's say that there is an overwhelming blue wave with an unprecedented amount of states turning Democrats. What will happen next? What would be the best or worst things that could happen in the following 6-12 months?
Fiancee's first time voting today! She became a citizen this year
I voted.

I sent in my absentee ballot for PA 3-ish weeks ago, straight Democrat. There was a yes or no thingy about whether after school programs for kids should be funded; that shouldn't even be aa question imo
Let me know if I've missed/mistyped anyone so far

Lemme know if I can make a script to help you do this more easily. I think you can just rate each post making a guess with a clover and then I can write a script which gets all posts that YOU rated clover on and turns it into a csv file or something.

It's time to undo the damage of the Trump administration.
what the heck why do you get cool stickers
in ky all we have are those little 'i voted' stickers with the american flag
Charlottesville was subject to a terrorist attack by trump supporters, so they're pretty passionate about voting
This is true, our community was deeply affected by the 2017 Unite the Right rally. But since that event, we have grown ever-stronger as a tight-knit community that rejects all forms of hate and encourages everyone to embrace each-others differences.
This vote is either the beginning of the end or a new beginning for the nation.
Please do your part and vote
Almost 1/4 of Black voters going for Ted...? Wtf?
I'm curious to see how Indiana turns out. I've seen a lot of signs supporting a new Democrat running for the state house. Coincidentally I actually knew one of the dems running for a local seat.
The pollster says it's a noisy poll, Beto would be ahead in this one if black people and Hispanics support Beto the same as black people voted for Doug Jones, over 95%.
Hey me too! Although by brother almost missed out on doing the same. He registered to vote online but when he got there they told him he wasn’t in the system. They told him they could register him. It wasn’t until he showed them the text he received from Vote.org that they said “alright, works for me.”
Went to vote today. Usually my polling place is damn near dead at around this time of day and I'm usually in and out, this time there was a long queue for it. No matter the outcome in my state, I'm really happy to see way more people around here excising their right (and in my opinion civic duty) to get out and vote!
smurfy bookie,
235/50 for me please
It is pouring cats and dogs but once I get cleaned up I'm heading out.

Voted Dem in Florida and to restore voting rights.
Nothing to do now but bite my nails until the results come out.
Good vid for newcomers

Voted absentee a few weeks ago. Worth noting that I don't feel that sense of impending doom that I did back in 2016, so my instincts imply things will go well today. Won't know for sure until the results come in, of course.
