House: D 216 - R 219 It's gonna be a total nailbiter throughout the entire night, as the Reps will lose some seats, yet due to unexpected R turnout in key races, they manage to hang on by the skin of their teeth and an almost tauntingly narrow majority in the House. It's really going to be razor-thin, a few thousand votes could mean victory or defeat for both parties, but I get the inkling the Reps are going to beat the odds yet again. Senate: D 45 - R 55 I don't see it getting as close as most of you do, but I do expect some upsets there and there. I do expect Cruz and McSally to pull through, for example.

Update from Portland, Maine. The line is already out the door and it’s only 11 AM. I’ve been waiting for 45 minutes already. I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m in touch with some officials who are saying it’s like this all across the state, including rural counties like Milford. We are on track to break all-time turnout records.

I'm betting 234 and 48. I'm hoping none of the amendments for NC go through, they're all sketchy. Also one of the candidates on my ballot for soil and water commissioner (which is non-partisan so I had to do more research into the candidates) believes in paying people for sterilizing themselves and that North Korea isn't bad because they're allegedly pro-choice.

Doing my part for Ohio. Not only will we and mine be voting, we have closed the store down for the day to ensure our employees have all the time they need to make sure their vote is counted in this mid-term election. Here's hoping for a big damn swing in Ohio because man do we need one.

Just voted, turnout was pretty yuge even at a noon on a Tuesday, lots of older black folks.

Place certainly sounded busier than usual, I asked about the turnout and they said "pretty good" which is actually really good to hear because turnouts here are usually pretty low. Let's hope Michigan goes blue https://i.imgur.com/R0NCpZ4h.jpg
