US Elections 2018: Democrats take House, Republicans keep Senate,

Sure can't wait for them to destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs just for nothing!
You guys are assuming I'm being sarcastic but I said that completely unsarcastically
I never thought I'd be so happy for a return of Obama-era gridlock
Does anyone have that list of things Democrats intend to investigate, there was a news article about how it's scaring the shit out of Republicans.
Agreed, we can't let shit like "compromise" get in the way of Republicans driving this country into the ground as efficiently as they can.
I personally presumed you were being legitimate, so my response was also legitimate.
Sure, but I was not complaining.
Noooo, where's Jeb?
I'm dumb and I misread the intent of your post until now, sorry
Preparing
When compromise is choosing to lose an arm where the original proposal was to lose your head when you could just choose not to lose body parts by not negotiating and capitulating then compromise is the worst decision you could possibly enthusiastically engage in.
Compromise requires, first, a genuine willingness and interest in the well-being or profits of both parties. In the present situation, the only acceptable 'compromise' to the republican party is prostration. That is not a party who wants to negotiate. That is a party that demands you submit.
I just want to say I'm still impressed how good some polling methods are and it's just kind of crazy to me how something that can have a lot of subjective factors can still be organized into hard numbers, and have the predictions be more or less accurate. Even with 2016's polling error, it shows how effective it still is and watching the current results of 2018 so far and then comparing them to the forecasts from something like 538 is outstanding.
It's kinda like an elevator. All works fine but then some asswad cuts the cable. So the breaks do their job and stop the freefall to a very uncomfortable landing. The asswad being the GOP since Trump got elected, the breaks being the Democrats right now.
Also it's not like gridlock is new. Obama's last term was spent in gridlock because unlike the Democrats, the GOP are physically incapable of compromise. (Meaning this is less of a gridlock because Democrats are actually willing to try and compromise.)
You could do to make that more clear. It didn't really come across as a joke at all.
We are waiting on PUNISHED JEB to materialize.
Republicans brace for Democrats' investigation spree after the m..
Is this the article you meant?
I can't believe I'm looking forward to a gridlock. Like, yeah, no progress sucks, but it's better than literally everything going unimpeded and every single day having five gruesome news articles.
I also cant wait for you to lose your job, seano12
Hes back, and this time he has his debatin boots on all the time.
I'll see you in the bread lines comrade.

Ho-ho-ho, this will be delightful to watch as Republicans squirm
Here are some of the probes it predicts:

Trump's dealings with Russia, including the president's preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin
The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels
James Comey's firing
Trump's firing of U.S. attorneys
Trump's proposed transgender ban for the military
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's business dealings
White House staff's personal email use
Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks
Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago

Jeb will make Swdish anime real.
Yo I went to bed during the dark hours fearing the worst, thank GOD
Between a stable coma and actively bleeding out, I'll pick the coma. Clean bill of health just wasn't on the cards.
Are your coins in FP purgatory?
The last midterm where each party gained in each chamber was in 1970.
So you know, the final house number wont be revealed for another few days so hold onto that coin
In case they aren't, I actually won. Don't bother checking the spreadsheet you can trust me ;)
I honestly don't know how you slept while the 538 numbers collapsed like that.
