Still shows Evers behind by 1k on WISN with 95% in. If even 1/2 of those ballots goes Evers, it is all over.
The Democrats had almost uninterrupted control of both houses for decades after the Great Depression, that's why 1996 was such a huge year because it was like holy shit the GOP can actually not get completely destroyed??? There's really only been 20 years of Congress actually being competitive so records dating back to the 40s and the last 'competitive age' are kind of to be expected

The reason Congress is competitive now is because the last Dixiecrats were gone after 1994. In the late 40s/early 50s the conservative coalition of Republicans and Dixiecrats blocked Truman's plans to expand the New Deal.
Better than the republicans you historical and quantifiable hackfraud.

The dead pimp in Nevada's going to win
It's ok, by now we all know you don't know anything about anything, so no-one really cares.
Now isn't the time for compromise. Democrats have been on the defensive for an entire decade, and the Republicans have gotten riled up and divided the country so deeply all on their own. Now is the time to absolutely bury the Republicans alive in paperwork so deep and so thick that it can be used as a foundation to rebuild civil, democratic society. It shouldn't be the goal of a Democratic house to make life hard for the Republicans, and it shouldn't be their goal for them to just obstruct them - it should be their goal to make life an absolute living hell for the Republicans. Go after them personally and remind them of their civil responsibilities and patriotic duty to keep the America great, and not the degenerating laughing stock that it has become.
I gained a slight bit if hope says increasingly nervous man
Increasingly relaxed man
Half of the senate represents 16% of the population. https://twitter.com/mat_johnson/status/1060044120528310272?s=19 Living in a less populated area shouldn't give you more power towards controlling the lives of everyone else

/pol/ is literally trying to scream their way to victory.
Nervously relaxed man? Anxiously hopeful man? Cautiously imagining the best case scenario now that there is one man???
Given that exit poll showing healthcare was the most important issue for voters... did Obamacare make Dems lose the House in 2010 and win it back in 2018? Also I can't believe the border wall is fucking dead
I'm going to die during the 2020 election, this was just the mid terms and I couldn't take it
Over time our government is basically unusable. Population and apportionment means the House should eventually be a Democrat lock, especially as several states are passing anti-gerrymandering laws. The opposite with the Senate, so sooner or later the government will be eternally gridlocked.

What an ass
I can't believe this result means that the caravan has to be let into the US and 5000 Americans deported to even out the numbers... why did they put that in the Constitution damn it

Guy on that same twitter thread said it best. A safeguard against tyranny of the majority should not mean tyranny of the minority. Especially when the minority in this case is actively voting against even their own interests.
What I actually can't believe is that this is it, we're back to presidential campaign mode now. I'm not gonna be surprised if Dem campaigns start launching before January. It's gonna be a long two years
Sometimes I can't help but think that the Constitution is outright broken. It helped make America what it is, but there's no way its authors could've foreseen the system's flaws after so much time. That said, I also don't trust anyone to write sweeping amendments or a new Constitution without screwing everyone over.
