The House can hire Mueller as their own counsel if Trump fires him apparently
What, was Sessions anti-pot?
Oh Christ https://twitter.com/EmeraldRobinson/status/1060273029056524288
This is getting interesting
Holy shit, this really is the Midterm Massacre. Oh fuck oh fuck we’re gonna be in history books
...and not in the good way!
Annnd there's no way that this can end well for the Trump team. GJ, gonna grab a chair and some popcorn
I've still got CNN on Jake Tapper: Will you be able to take action over this now or will it have to wait until the Democrats take over the House in January? Rep. Ted Lieu (D): If Republicans put country over party we could do it next week, otherwise it will have to wait until January Tapper: Okay so it'll be January

I don't know, a crowd of angry protestors dragging a fascist idiot out of the Oval Office sounds like a good thing.
"Trump allies are deeply perplexed by his move" That's the new i'm not a crook
Jesus fucking Christ. I was hoping for things to die down after the midterms, but instead Trump decided to double down on his fascist takeover. He must be really fucking scared.
lmao he couldn't even wait 24 hours before giving into panic and firing everyone
Hi mom!!!
Thought I could breath easy at least by a little. Guess not
If he axes Rosenstein we fucking riot.
ah, trump's pulling a page out of my 4th grade chess strategy book. purposely get all your pawns killed so you have the "good" pieces left to move anywhere. it never worked
These next two months will be interesting, in the downtime between all of this transpiring and Democrats regaining the House in January.
I really hope Rosenstein doesn't voluntarily resign, so they will be forced to outright fire him. Didn't this already happen once?
Apparently Trump's new acting AG thinks Marbury v. Madison was a bad decision, the one that gave the courts to review and strike down laws as unconstitutional.
Since the dems taking the house, this is gonna fuck him so FUCKING HARD. Should've not did anything. Hell, Should've resigned.
Yeah Rosenstein has said he will not resign, they will have to fire him.

Have a source for that? Because that just seems so outlandish and nakedly fascist.
Uhh That's basically a foundational part of the US Constitution
Jesus Christ I just saw it in a reddit comment.
It would be hilarious if he has to recuse himself too. Trump would pop a blood vessel.
By default removing Sessions and placing an acting director removes Rosenstein from control of the investigation. Rosenstein is the Deputy AG and only had oversight over Mueller because Sessions (the actual AG) recused himself.
Technically people getting fired after midterms isn't unprecedented and Session's getting fired isn't a huge surprise, but indeed the optics of this are sketchy. Especially if they fire Rosenstein. We'll see what happens.
That could be the play though - "oh you don't like this guy? well that's why the Senate is going to speedily confirm my permanent nominee, Hitler "The Obstructionator" McMuellerWillBeFiredImmediately
