I'm not American, but I'm super super proud of you guys that are out there right now. You guys are peak American!
Looking good here in Dayton. Lots of honking support. I would say we're at 200 or 300 so far and folks are still arriving. Stay safe and stay loud! https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/133737/5a5cd63b-0310-47a8-b8af-993fdfd9f034/20181108_174258.jpg
That's still more than most far right result rallies max out at after Charlottesville! Strong start for such short notice.
There's someone here with a baby Trump balloon https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/203772/bb65d597-0111-4983-9c29-23f19369d3df/IMG_20181108_174408.jpg Sorry for shitty pics but I'm trying to preserve privacy also not walk into traffic.
Protests in Charlottesville, VA are going strong https://i.imgur.com/3OLvlJz.jpg
I'm at work right now and planned to book it to my protest as soon as my shift ended but my protest claims to be going tomorrow at 4:30. Organizer hasn't responded to me yet, either. This is frustrating.
I’m at my local protest. Surprised to see most everyone here is over 65’s lol but I guess this is Florida after all. Probably around 200 people here. And load of funny t shirts and signs. Someone’s holding a sign that has a big picture of Whitaker with the text “Sheathe this penis” uh alright dude lol
This is kinda amazing! I didn't expect to see so many people's on the forums protesting too, you know you fucked up when Facepunchers have to leave their homes to confront you
I knew it was gonna happen when I saw fp'er gettin' ready, you know its bad when we actually go outside I wish I could be at one, but I'm scheduled to work late shift tonight

My protest peaked at about 150 people then dispersed after about an hour. Still some people holding signs out there but I had to get home. Lots of people honking in support, which felt amazing. One guy across the street yelled "Mueller is a cuck!" and most of the crowd just laughed at him.

#ProtectMueller is #1 US trending

I wonder how Mueller feels right now

I was getting ready to go the protest in a city that's next to mine, but my dad (who's pretty conservative) stopped me and wouldn't even let me walk over there because "you are not an independent adult and you rely on your parents" and some other shit about how my perspective is skewed. He's currently giving my younger sister a lecture about what I'm assuming is political garbage.
So what are we expecting from this protest? Raising awareness? Democrats can't do anything about this until January at the earliest.
That shit continues your entire life btw. First its "you don't live in the house so you don't know", then its "you don't own a car/house" "you're not married" ect ect. its the dumbest cop out for parents to use when you try to show any kind of political perspective.
I wasn't able to make it to a protest today (sadly), but if there's one that's close enough I can make it in the near future I'm gonna be damn sure to be out there. Already planning some signs to make possibly.
Awareness, solidarity, warning. Think of it as the rattle before the strike.
Showing Trump and his lackeys that if they even attempt to compromise the FBI's investigation (moreso than they have now) they'll have to answer to hundreds of thousands of angry Americans across the country. The best part, or the part that I know will be overlooked by the WH, is that this isn't an event carried out by the libs, but Americans in general. We outnumber them atleast 10,000 to 1, so Trump should be feeling scared right now.
I think it's more of a "You can go to protests when you are a proper adult" thing since I'm still living with my parents, though it's not a whole lot better. Anyways, my called my older sister about it, and she called my older brother (who lives closer) and asked him if he could call my dad to ask permission to drive me there, so we'll see how that'll go.

Just ignore Whittaker's dumb comments and use them as fuel for the protest, he's posturing and being desperate. Dumb bastard is putting his loyalty into someone who sees him as an asset and will throw him under the bus like he did with Comey, Flynn, Sessions, Mattis, and all the other people.
Okay, so my dad's going to let my brother pick me up, so that's good.
If Republicans had an ounce of integrity they could do something about it now. That fact alone should be enough for everyone to be pissed enough to get the fuck out there and PROTEST. We have a President trying to subvert the laws of this country and a Republican congress is just sitting there. FUCKING PROTEST.
I'm terribly proud of all of you amazing people that are getting out there and doing something to make our country a better one. You're the ones that are truly trying to make America great again, seriously. I've got mandatory overtime tomorrow or else I'd be on the streets right fucking now. I'm so terribly anxious that I can't be in Little Rock but tomorrow after work I'm making the drive. God speed to every one of you, stay safe and make history happen.
Saw this very good boy at a protest here in Montana https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/214459302474153984/510242111615008809/1108181655.jpg bad pic sorry, my hands were freezing lol
