• White House suspends CNN reporter Jim Acosta's credentials after today's presser

Yes, I agree, that woman should be barred from future events. Very inappropriate to try to yank a journalist's mic from them!
They used a infowars video too, which is edited to seem more aggressive https://twitter.com/PrisonPlanet/status/1060363242084675584

The only reason their bodies came into contact is because she was aggressively reaching for his mic.
To be fair, Acosta isn't a great reporter by any means and it seems that his main goal is to grandstand as usual.
This is some soccer level complaining.
He doesn't. He would literally rather have every man, woman and child in this country disemboweled than himself feel even a twinge of inadequacy.
They send him to instigate situations like this because Trump can't just say "no comment" over and over and make the reporter look like a dick for wasting everyone's time. The reporters in these little conferences aren't entitled to a response from the person so standing there trying to be the loudest one in the room when the person made it clear they're not gonna answer and are trying to move on does make you look like a grandstanding jerk, but Trump has a beef with Acosta and is unable to let it go and pushes back. And that's exactly what they wanted and that's exactly what they got. Apparently this was a 90 minute press conference with the President which are rare with Trump, but the only part I've heard of it was this 62 second national embarrassment. I don't like this situation at all and I don't think either party in the argument is a winner here. The only winner here is CNN which got the exact response they were looking for. The clear loser here is America in that we have to deal with this kind of shit to begin with because our President can't stand not having the last word.
God, if the history books record that the inciting moment that caused President Trump to write an executive order overriding the first amendment was because he was upset Acosta successfully trolled him for a one-minute gag reel, I might just go live out my old age on a remote island without a computer, coming into town by boat once a month to stock up on supplies, because I am not ready for the meme media reality.
Who gives a fuck if he grandstands. Trump grandstands 24/7 on tax payer money, he calls media enemy of the people. Who gives an absolute fuck if someone should give him a hard time. The white house lied this time bold faced, even ben Shapiro said it. In fact Acosta grandstanding only serves to show what a pack of cunts this whole white house is when they pull shit like this.
Interesting you say that, I was just researching and seriously considering homesteading off the grid myself.
from regular orange to navel orange! a miracle!
This isn't "being fair" this is doing the exact same thing Trump is doing by assassinating his character. Grandstanding? Trump fucking picked him to ask a question. Then when he answered the question dishonestly Acosta challenged him on it and Trump resorted to the same shit you are doing here. Why would CNN send anyone to the White House other than their chief White House correspondent? CNN doesn't send reporters to instigate situations then record the fallout. Acosta asked a perfectly reasonable question at a press briefing and Trump blew up because he can't stand being called out on a lie in public. Look at this page and try and portray this as some CNN vs Trump beef.
I guess Jim Acosta isn't famous enough to grab by the pussy.
trump just trying to distract from firing sessions and ending the mueller probe. Nice to see press sec posting doctored video from infowars that literally just a naturally reaction from someone trying to sneak up and take something from you without you expecting it.
Huckabee Sanders is basically a small, ugly, symbiotic worm on the underbelly of Trump, straining and squeaking trying to scare off any predators threatening her fat, grotesque provider.
Freedom of speech only applies to me being able to 'speak my mind' and be an asshole and anyone who disagrees with me can see my expression of the second amendment.
Trump is gonna start taking pointers from Papa Putin https://cdn1.img.sputniknews.com/images/104892/38/1048923827.jpg In Russia, Putin rarely does press conferences. When he does, he answers a handful of questions, so if you want your outlet to get any screentime, you need to make sure your questions are softballs. CNN is gone, next will be NBC, CBS, etc. until all that's left is breitbart, Fox, etc.
Spot on, this is not a "there's bad guys on both sides" situation. It's not subjective. There's one bad side, and it's the side that since the press conference has doctored footage, spread lies and limited freedom of speech.
People are reasonably certain that the video floating around of this has been doctored to make Acostas little accidental nudge look a lot more impactful than it was. And it's not a particularly good doctoring if a VFX artist can already identify exactly what's been edited; https://twitter.com/rafaelshimunov/status/1060450557817708544 White House staffers themselves sharing doctored video footage is a fucking disgrace.
fuck this free press shit WHERE IS MY APPLAUSE (a marching band charges in from the door and plays a rendition of "Seven Nation Army" that incrementally speeds up in tempo and rises in pitch before POTUS decides that he is hungry and feels the need to eat one of the trumpeting teenagers for a snack)

I think this version's a little better than a side-by-side, it all happens so fast that even on 1/4th speed it was hard to tell in the other one. It's more noticeable here.
I honestly don't see it... It just looks like the non-tinted video is on a slight delay, especially when looking at the hand of the guy behind Acosta.
https://politics.theonion.com/sarah-huckabee-sanders-denies-doctoring-footage-showing-1830314031 I can't fucking believe CNN hires these people!
Trump walking away from and walking back to the mic was actually pretty hilarious I think he wanted out, dude was fucking pissed
Start this with "President Trump" and you might notice a pattern.

Is your entire existence just excusing inexcusable things by drinking whatever koolaid people tell you to?
This is literally completely irrelevant to the thread's subject and simply comes across as trying to deflect away from it and not acknowledge that our government is blatantly lying about something and using falsified evidence to try and prove it. The quality of Acosta's reporting means nothing in this context. And grandstanding, which didn't really happen, is also meaningless. He just tried to get Trump to answer one of those hard questions he insists he's up for answering.
