Yeah, that's the key thing. If there weren't cesspools full of arrogant assholes like 4chan, I might be more inclined to believe a person who made something like this just had a motive other than circlejerking about how smart they are for being an absolute pessimist. But the problem is that these communities do exist. We've been dealing with people like this on the web for ages now. And I've seen enough of this shit to automatically be suspicious of the motive of any anonymous poster who makes something as dour as this. I'd probably be less inclined to assume the worst if there was a real name attached to all of it.
