• Trump warns antifa: Opposition to you could be tougher and ‘much more violent’

I'm not defending those who are firebombing. I'm defending that the movement exists to fight evils that far exceed the damages a few molotovs could ever cause.
It so instead of it being a popularity contest, it's better because it's determined how many empty cornfield states you can win by getting the 3 out of 5 people who live there to vote for you? Oh wait, you're saying it's better because the only way you fucking losers can ever win is by disenfranchising people and making other's votes worth more just because they suck off corn for a living.
If antifa are the real fascists they're really bad at it.
The Antifa people seem to have lawlessness in spades, given that they are anarchists. No, I think my greater problem is this: What the fuck are their goals? Like are they going to keep causing a ruckus until Trump is impeached, killed or (most likely) voted out of office? Probobly not, because then they seem to have some type of conspiracy theory that even when the Trump administration is finished (which contrare to what Michael Moore says will happen in either 2 or 6 years - I think after that there's no way we're getting a republican again, pendulums and all) the evil jews republicans will be controlling all aspects of western civilization because I mean they're brainwashing people with the help of Fox News and they're evil and stuff and only want to support a fascist regime (which is totally not the same as Nazism even though we like to wink and nod that they are the same thing DONALD TRUMP IS HITLER) Honestly, for Trump? These people have to be useful idiots. Random nobodies who've had their places ravenged by these rioters aren't suddenly going to join the cause of stamping fascism because someone in a black mask threw a molly in their window. No, they're going to look down on the guy who did it. They might even start supporting the status quo more heavily. Riots solve nothing. They won't make the Fascist-Republicans wake up and realize that they are no-good fascists who should resign from office or kill themselves, they'll galvanize them. And they'll also galvanize the people around them too if they manage to get severe enough.
I guess all Republicans want Jews to be executed in their own synagogues according to your logic.
Just for your future reference, exactly here is where you have lost all credibility with literally anyone who has any sense whatsoever - and is exactly where I decided that debating anything with you is an exercise in pigeon chess. Delete your account. That's not what anti-fascist means. Prove that they're anarchists. Give me your sources.
I knew how she was going to lose the minute the campaign started you dumb fucking bitch. How the fuck are you going to defend someone becoming president if 3 million more people didn't want him to than did. Tell me why someone's vote is worth more if they live somewhere with a lower population.
It's pretty wild to claim antifa have no purpose when a nazi killed a dozen Jewish people a few weeks ago.
Charlottesville? Hello?
Fake news! Also, not a nazi because reasons. Even if they were both those things, it's not indicative of a mass movement despite hate crimes swinging dramatically upwards under the Trump admin. because there are no nazis. Stop resisting and stay #woke.
haha yeah those people in middle America fly over states? Fuck em! I mean this is the united states and they primarily supply us agriculture but those people can go fuck themselves, the places where Trump campaigned the hardest? They're just like, deplorables. That's all they are! No, people in the big cities and population centers should run the country! By design, you can lose the popular vote and still win office. I actually should look up when this has happened before, because I doubt Trump is the first person to have this happen. I do know that this keeps getting brought up because it's a flimsy way of saying that Trump's victory is illegitament.
Its main purpose was derived nearly 200 years ago. The conditions it was created for are not the conditions that exist now. Now it simply interferes with the vote working as intended, used as a tool to further suppress the impact of democratic voting. And by design the electoral college is meant to specifically deny candidates who would be bad for the country but who nonetheless won the popular vote. So, seeing as it has abandoned its job in much the way that the Senate has why, exactly, should we keep it around?
Man you know what, I was just suggesting that everyone's vote should count the same but now I'm thinking we should just have prison camps just for white farmers. Thanks for pushing me farther left!
hope you like supply shortages!
There was literally a crowd of people screaming "Jews will not replace us" while waving nazi symbols like the SS mark, black sun, etc all over the place "No proof of existing any where near such EXAGGERATED levels" Like there is clearly a large underground Nazi following even beyond what is made public. Fat blue haired idiots breaking windows = exactly the same as Muslim extremists https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0f/e9/22/0fe9222b9874e0b6ce25ce5170ec2543.jpg Remember that vandalizing cars and beheading crowds of people are on equal grounds Probably because Nazi ideology, by default, will lead to violence, every time it gets powerful enough. Their representatives act peaceful because they know enough to play it smart and safe.
At the rate we're going with Trump, you're going to get those anyway.
Trump got elected and yet illegal immigrants are still coming in. You guys sure did a damn good job electing him.
Actually no, hold on. Antifa is everywhere? I certainly don't remember then ten or fifteen years ago. I mean I know they existed sine like the 60s or 70s and I know people made parellels to George Bush being just as bad as hitler (because just like hitler he also invaded a foreign country!) but either I was too young to know or Antifa wasn't really an active thing. What gives? "Bush isn't as bad as Trump" Try explaining that to his detractors 15 or so years ago.
Man you really just responded to the jokey strawman I made of myself to dodge the question. You really are a lazy parasite.
In case you couldn't tell, I was being deeply sarcastic. Also what is the entire rest of your post? Are you just going to throw bad faith arguments at strawmen because you're mad that you can't actually defend someone else's argument which had no legs to stand on to begin with?
The senate and house really isn't though. The house should have far more people to better correspond with the current population. We should have far more judges as well.
I was actually going to leave the thread at this point but you drew me out. Okay. I have a serious question. I'm going to play devils advocate for the sake of argument and say that Trump is as bad as Antifa claims. What exactly does rioting accomplish in regards to stamping out fascism?
If their idea of a democratic republic is a fascist authoritarian banana republic then their statement rings true. For such a government, it would be working 'exactly as intended' -- just not as the people who set the thing up ever wanted it to be done.
A bit late but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_the_United_States Right wing ideology generates more terrrorist attacks than everything else combined. Most Republican aren't Nazi's, but most Nazi's are Republicans.
To understand it, I'll answer your question with a question: What exactly does protesting accomplish in regards to effecting policy and social change in America?
