Something that caught my eye is the mention of "blunt force" and "bruising" these kind of injuries are relatively similar to what happens at CMUs and Black Sites used by certain police departments. Basically those involved in "interrogation" use rolled up newspapers that have put in water and then dried, because it very rarely will break bones, but it does a fuckton of damage to your muscles, blood vessels, and just overall nervous system. Imagine the kind of concussions that people get from boxing with gloves or playing football, and you start to understand how it works.
I do have to wonder if ICE is transporting people to black sites for interrogation, it wouldn't be the first time that LEOs have used such methods.
wow did not know that was a thing, absolutely why the early 2000s was a clusterfuck for the country. This had bipartisan support.
