'Individual 1': Trump emerges as a central subject of the Mueller probe

It aged like milk
can't wait until Trump gets put away and everyone pats themselves on the back as if America is saved.
The only good outcome to this fucking disaster would be the Republicans splitting apart due to all the partisanship, or better yet, people such as Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan getting locked up as well.
Unfortunately even the "liberal" news has done a great job of painting Trump as the primary antagonist, rather then the Republican Party itself.
The 'good outcome' would be the destruction of the GOP, the splintering of the Republican party into useless bickering factions, and the codification into law many practices which we had up until now left 'on the honor system'.
The two party system has been the same for 160 years, the fact one is a gaggle of insane traitorous criminals now won't change anything.
Although it's always been dogshit, never before in the entire history of the US have both parties been so far apart on virtually every issue. If the US wasn't a pseudo oligarchy, with many different viable political parties to vote for, this wouldn't be a problem but unfortunately you have two choices and only one is willing to compromise, to the detriment of the nation given Republican policies.
It's no coincidence that the US has seen virtually no major beneficial changes from within for decades now, not even the adoption of Universal Healthcare, while everyone else in the Western world did so in some capacity. You can't have one party change some things over 4-8 years, and then have the following presidency undo it all, ad infinitum.
Proportional representation would be a good start to fixing many of the problems, but it's evident that the inherent structure of the "republic" of the US makes this virtually impossible to see on a national level.
Not so. In any other year, yes. But in times of absolute crisis, where all chips are put on the table, then even the very nature of the republic may be changed if that is what the People feel is necessary to preserve and evolve it such that the crisis does not return.
Without Trump, the GOP may lose the support of his cult, putting the Democrats in a better position to win. Polls suggest that a large portion of his supporters don't really support the GOP itself. So that's one good thing that could come off of this. Then the Democrats will just have to put those 4 years to good use.
It won't be the golden bullet to end all issues, but it's a start. Stay hopeful and keep fighting.
There was before the Civil War when the Republicans were just the anti-slavery party, which is a pretty ominous statement.
They were divided mainly on that one key issue however; there a plethora more issues in the modern day that plague political discourse. I really don't want to imagine what a modern US civil war would look like since the opposing factions wouldn't be decided at state lines...
Oh I'm not hopeless lol, not even being pessimistic per-se, just setting my expectations low for the inevitable disappointment. My political and economic views aren't even close to being a reality in the present time, nor is there even any way for me to see them instituted in any fashion any time soon; I do however see avenues towards them however, albeit slow avenues at that.
I'm trying to remain hopeful but we are literally racing time here as a species, because even more-so than the rising tide of far-right extremism, I am highly worried about the climate. We are woefully unequipped to deal with climate change within capitalist systems and in the current socio-economic structures present in those systems. As much as I despise despotic governments, what they say goes, and in the event of a legitimate catastrophe, they could at seemingly a flick of the wrist, do their best to season the storm(China, Russia, so on, so forth); the same does not go for North America and Europe.
at least we still have this
Trump says he has answered Mueller's questions but not submitted..
(he changed his username lol)
I would love if there was a connection map (You know, the one were there is one cunt in centre of it and then leads off into branches/connections)
Is there anything like that around? To see what or how everything is tied.
Don't think I've forgotten you, @God of the Grove
This is the most up to date one I could find
The big picture
There are loads if you google Trump Russia map
IANAL but, I'm pretty sure its some technical legal reason of them not being able to publicly reveal names in instances where they are not the direct subject of the document.
You are individual 1, the most powerful weapon ever created, obviously!
Except in this case, he's actually the dumbest man ever recorded.
I'm starting to think Trump isn't real, and he's gonna get away by being a hologram in reality.
I cant belive onion stole my fucking facepunch joke
I had interpreted what you were asking as to why others were using it.
I don't think that's the legal council's reasoning at all either and I do agree with you.
