You managed to answer a question I didn't even ask, good job.
Gosh it's been so long since we've seen an actual honest-to-god ron paul libertarian on facepunch
say what you will, that knowledge on silver is impressive
Alkali metals are orders of magnitude weaker than silver. Silver isn't used all that much because copper is a very close second in terms of conductivity while being vastly cheaper. I actually have literally seen silver used in old consumer photovoltaic cells as well.
I invested all my money in francium, I assure you guys, it’s really gonna be on the up and up.
You sound like one of these tricks we used to play on each other as kids where in the end you end up ripping someone off. "I give you 5 dollars, you loan me 7, we split the interest and then after 1 day we sell that to Lucas over there"
You can redeem them for federal reserve notes. The terms are fair and square to anyone who cares to read them. "This is a receipt for 10 dollars." The notes are considered a piece of monetary history for scripophilics (people who collect prints) and currently go for a premium. When you buy precious metals usually a silver dealer charges what's called a 'premium' for the bullion. The gentleman who I named my account after, Bernard Von NotHaus, basically succeeded in creating the highest premium massed produced silver round on the market. The NORFED silver rounds currently go for a much higher premium than walking liberties produced by the US mint. If you find someone who is willing to trade currency for Liberty Dollars on a 1:1 ratio- then you are a very lucky person. The Sunshine Mint has the highest grade coin dies and thus the Liberty Dollar silver rounds were limited and their denominations respected.
is this what you went to college for?
Can we please get away from the dollar and revert to a road warrior-like post-apocalyptic society based on a bartering economy already
Don't worry, soon we'll be beating each other to death for the last drops of the precious guzzoline.
