no confidence. this is a fucking shambles
So what does this mean? No deal Brexit?
Theresa May is getting bodied. Fuck, even the Tories are being way quieter than I was expecting.
By the sound of it, the deal is dead. We either Remain (still unlikely) or leave with No Deal. This is the slowest train crash of all time and we're all chained by one arm to the seats, just enough to be bloodied and battered by the impact.
She again rejected all other alternatives that have been proposed to her deal - including a further referendum and leaving without a deal.
She said her deal "gives us control of our borders, our money and our laws - it protects jobs, security and our Union".
"It is the right deal for Britain. I am determined to do all I can to secure the reassurances this House requires, to get this deal over the line and deliver for the British people," she added.
Nah. It means she's pussyfooting around the inevitability that Parliament will vote on her deal and throw it in the bin. She's still trying to get her deal to pass, but she's now trying to tweak it, claiming there needs to be changes to aspects of the Northern Ireland agreement composed within the bill/deal. There will be a vote at some point before the 21st January, apparently, so she's hardly bought herself much extra time. Considering we're meant to leave in March, she's leaving it super late. Since Theresa seems to be throwing out the possibility of No Deal Brexit, I have no idea what's going to happen when her deal is finally rejected.
Holy fuck, she just DOESN'T LISTEN. So many people are saying we should have another referendum, but she's just like "Nooooooo, i'm so full of my self, we shouldn't do another vote." JUST FUCK OFF MAY. DO ANOTHER VOTE ALREADY!
She's trying to outlive her cabinet. She's rightfully worried that she'll be burnt to smithereens if she even considers the possibility of turning on Brexit, though considering how she's managed to last this long, I think she should just go out in a blaze of glory. Or should I say, a blaze of Tory.
incoming "No deal is a Better Deal" Boilrig post
"And the speaker says that there will not be a vote, when there will be," says May, 60 seconds ago, as people shout 'WHEN' over her.
We wre the laughing stock of Europe again, fucking WOOO....
Almost £100k of public money spent on Brexit deal Facebook ads |..
Good use of taxpayers money...
She's getting torn apart in the speaks right now, it's like a dodgeball court; but everyone on her team joined the other side, and now she's dodging and weaving while everyone keeps slinging shit at her.
Hahaha Everyone shouting "YES IT DOES" over her. This is gold
I mean I'm pretty sure she had been in breach of the law, so why can't some lawyers just find something to remove her from power
Do you have a link for the stream?
🎵It's beginning to look a lot, like, snap election (du du du)🎵

No deal still seems unlikely. May's behaviour is making that more and more unlikely.
In my opinion the choices are either going with this deal (which won't happen) or cancelling brexit after ousting May from power. May is the worst thing that has happened to the UK in decades.
They're gonna throw her off the throne, do a new election and proceed to cancel brexit unilaterally as permitted by the EU court of justice earlier today.
If she wants to save face she should stay out of the spotlight for a bit and step down over "health issues".
Doesn't she look tired?
Can't blame her. She became leader because everyone else dropped out, and I think now she's realising that was not a sign of the cards falling in her favour, but it was foreshadowing just exactly why people had second-thoughts about taking the job.
Well you can blame her, she still made a lot of avoidable mistakes. Including in not braking her own promises.
She is a clueless idiot with criminal incompetence.
"The people of this country understood what they were voting for"
fuck no they didn't
She keeps saying that people told her they want to get on with it and leave. Is she not listening to what people are saying or is she just hanging around the local echo chamber?
A faint *whoosh* could be heard from the people of Facepunch as HazzaHardie realised that it has been fifteen years since that iconic moment. "I could bring down your entire Government with six words."
Hey, I'm the nerdiest of nerds. Who knew.
That is, of course, unless you completely accidentally referenced the 10th Doctor and I'm a muppet now.
why the fuck is everyone there so against a second referendum, how can they all be so fucking out of touch
