• Federal Judge strikes down Obamacare individual mandate, says entire law follows

"the law cannot be separated from the individual mandate." seems extremely flimsy given all the other reforms it enacts like patient protection, even basic record requirements.
i dunno why my post was deleted but lol the republicans have aided and abetted russians infiltrating our democracy, they've turned a blind eye to global warming intentionally, and they support that dictator they ran as the GOP nominee for president good enough for me to declare them all nazis tbh
those things aren't anything in common with nazis, this is exactly why i oppose the idea of just killing nazis, because people will call literally anyone a nazi
You do know there are hotlines to help with mental illness, right? you should probably reach out to one
lol, are you going to imply the republicans aren't traitors to the american people?
Yes, yes i am
I guess Allies and the Soviets were Nazis too in WW2.
Looking at what Stalin did to his own people, he was just as bad, so the Soviets weren't exactly a friendly bunch Swing and miss
... First guy you responded to wasn't talking about a genocide...
So ignoring the dangers of and doubling down on causing climate change, harassing/genociding minorities, gerrymandering, deliberately collaborating with Trump to prevent his lawful removal from office and to prevent criminal investigations into him, destruction of affordable healthcare for Americans who aren't so well off, refusal to develop the needed infrastructure for your citizens to thrive and survive, and slashing of education budgets just don't matter to you?
Killing all people of a political party isn't genocide? Literally the definition is the deliberate killing of a large group of people. Are you high?
DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT ONE CHIEF
Post what you mean instead of inane vaguetries
I wouldn't be surprised if this repeal gets struck down in appeals court and don't get taken up by the supreme court, the balance of power hasn't changed and Roberts will still likley rule in favor of the ACA.
I was more so referring to the bengal famine.
roberts will very likely refuse to bring it to the scotus if this ruling is overturned in another higher court
If you’re going to be so vicious with your generalizations, you are only going to create a more battlefield like mentality in the world and the areas you wish would improve. Why youd our want to do that and think that would at all fix the shit you’re mad about us beyond me.
nice selective reading man
Fucking exactly. My take home pay for an 80 hour paycheck was 110$ on my employer's insurance. I'm either going to be homeless or dead. Thanks republicans
Buddy, that's not how that works.
It's weird how a group can kill as many as you want indirectly (but still known beforehand) through legislation, but someone posting on a forum gets calleda psycho for suggesting violence towards them.
Because the first is legal, the second will get the FBI bothering Garry again.
There's other ways to seek justice rather than murder. Grow up.
I completely understand why the post was deleted, I'm more trying to ask why everyone acts like he went nuts and threatened to bomb a school after taking bath salts.
I was almost fined like $1000 USD because I moved to the US AFTER the deadline to apply for ACA for that year, and wouldn't have been able to get on a company insurance plan because of enrollment dates and shit, BUT I was also here before the deadline to be exempt from having to get insurance. I was lucky enough to invalidate that with education tax credits, but jesus fucking christ that was retarded. Seriously the only bad thing I can say about the ACA was that it made it mandatory for people to have insurance or face a fine, but that was implemented in such a fucking asinine way that it probably hurt thousands of people. IDK what's so fucking hard about implementing universal health care, it's cheaper to boot.
How to deflect criticism 101, exhibit A. You don't seriously believe this, do you?
Has anyone tried to explain to these dudes that dead people can't pay taxes? They also can't buy products. Dead people don't help the economy at all, and making money has always been the only thing that matters to these fucks, so you'd think they would want more people to have healthcare so they remain alive to spend more dollars. I really hope that we have some kind of internal revolution or wave of sanity with the conservative base so that they can go back to being a party that doesn't have a primary function of being batshit insane
yes but that hurts the bottom line of insurance scams, AKA, all health insurance If your customers die you don't have to grant them their insurance
This is what makes me want to grab a bat and try to fix the system myself But I can also press buttons on a screen every 2 years and put someone in power who is willing to fix it through law, which is MUCH easier and doesn't require getting myself arrested by riot police. If the progressive wins in the midterms have shown me anything, it's that people are now painfully aware of how exploitative American health insurance companies are, and how medicare for all is inevitable at this point. It's a slow process, but the public is warming up more and more to the idea of having socialized healthcare.
insurance is supposed to be a money pool. modern insurance companies in the US have multi thousand dollar deductibles and barely cover anything after you pay it off yay health insurance one of the longest running cons. there are exceptions, some actually care about life
