He's finally dead, let him fade.
But as potential havoc draws near, May’s government seems to have its attention elsewhere. Burdened by their deliberations with Europe, key cabinet ministers are instead trying to woo support from Britain’s former colonies. Get fucked lmao, don't drag us down with you. Also the irony of gathering support from foreign nations to justify breaking away from their own economic alliance with OTHER foreign nations.
Don't come cryin' to us, May.

It's happening in like two months and this is the state of things? I want to know how many tories fear getting a Novichok sandwich.
Wait, what?
It's 2 months away and as far as I can tell we literally have had zero news of progress from our MPs. Great. The last news I can recall is they're still fighting over whether or not we take May's deal or not. Which while kinda shitty, is still safer than just leaving with no agreements at least. But most MPs seem to be dragging their feet, they don't want to be seen taking a stance against Brexit because it'd hurt their numbers (tbh the mental invalids that they'd lose for standing against Brexit probably aren't consistent voters anyway, Brexit managed to get a reasonable amount of engagement from non-voters). The main issue with these MPs not doing anything, is that not doing anything is still doing something. Inaction is still a choice you make and an action you take after all. If they don't get their shit together soon and either settle with May's deal or push to cancel this farce we're leaving with nothing. The only politicians I can see actually taking stances that aren't "uhh well the people said" are the ones that are known for actually interacting with their constituents, which shockingly is mostly the center-left and lefter of the MPs. Almost like the Tories are a bunch of fucking toffs who just can't connect with the working class unless they can blame the migrants for something 🤔
Yeh, Boilrig got perma'd. Joyous news, I know.
I've got British Citizenship and even though I only really went to high school there it would still be nice to know what the fuck is going on in regards to my citizenship. There has been more information about what is happening being given to British citizens living here from the Dutch government that the UK itself so far, in fact the British embassy has done fuck-all here and instead the Dutch immigration service has been trying to provide as much advice and support as they can. Fortunately for me I have German citizenship too and Dutch Residency so I'm not effected in terms of me possibly needing to leave, but most other British people living here do not have another citizenship let alone an EU one and I know friends who cannot find a job or a place to stay because of all the uncertainty around Brexit and the UK government giving no support.
We're not dragging you down with us. We're coming back for you.
That's genuinely concerning...I honestly expect our migration services have literally no idea what your status would be post-Brexit because the MPs themselves can't come to a conclusive decision as to what Brexit will even be this late in to the whole fucking failure. But it's alright lads. We're getting blue passports!!!11!!1!
there's got to be a polandball comic about this.
They've been on holiday since 20th December 2018 until today - being an MP is a hectic job, you've got to have over three weeks of holiday at Christmas to recover from this difficult decision making :p
