Trump Claims He Never Said Mexico Would LITERALLY Pay For The Wall

Kinda like that guy who used to say "I just find this very interesting..."
That post in which I stated I wanted Trump to win was sarcasm, but I'm sure you are unlikely to buy that. I don't express antitrump vibes that often because it is preaching to the choir. We already have thousands of AntTrump posts. I only ever really post about Trump when I feel like people are attacking him for the wrong reasons or not seeing the bigger picture of why he is wrong. And that post where I was saying why people like him was because people kept saying they couldn't understand why someone liked Trump and kept calling Trump supporters idiots. I was trying to show that Trump supporters are just regular people whose upbringing or whatever has lead to them having all the wrong opinions.
He LITERALLY stated they would cut a cheque in a memo printed in the papers.
you can do this whole galaxy brain shit all you want but you’re just ignoring facts for feelings
One is an experienced politician, with all that implies. The other is a conman with less than a tenuous grasp of leadership or diplomacy. Don't even fucking try to equate them.
Statements like these are exactly what worry me.
Except its true.
Mate you're the one who's projecting opinions that are contradicting facts. You're basically the person that you're trying to warn everyone else in not being.
Why? He LITERALLY is a conman.
Dos you read the piece detailing his history of how he how he got his money? He is literally a fraud and a conman because he defrauded he government, and cheated investors out of money.
You get get worried by statements like this. I get worried about ignorant defences like yours.
How do you want me to get some boomer already set in his ways that the brown people should come back under the heel of the white race, that the mexicans attempting to escape from their shithole cartel-ridden country to a safer place need to be kept out using useless walls, or even shot at the border if it comes to that, and who treats all demonrats as american traitors without looking in a mirror himself, to be convinced about changing his mind? I've attempted to change the minds of such people for the last three fucking years. If I changed the minds of maybe a handful of them, that's already a miracle as it is. But if they refuse to listen to change, they can go the way of the dinosaurs for all I care. Modern society has no place for them.
I'm not disputing that he is a conman. But by overlooking Hillarys problems because of how much worse Trump is you are contributing to a system that produces very bad results. Like, we all get it. Trump is awful. Trump is possibly the worst president we have had. But, very few recongize just how bad Hillary is and people like her, and that's why I'm worried.
Nobody during the election overlooked Clinton's problems except for a handful of people here. But, she was a superior choice despite her baggage than the likes of the liar, cheat, and racist known as Donald John Trump. I don't blame desperate people who wanted any change at all for having trust enough to vote for him, but the fact remains is that all that's happened (and believe me, even I was asking people to calm down for months after the election and see what happens!) ultimately he's just shown what happens when you go all-in on the GOP's aims with one candidate.
She's really not all that bad tbh. She's like mediocre at worst.
The whole hype around Hillary being some sort of devil incarnate has more or less due to a decades long smear by Fox and other right media that took hold. All of the scandals surrounding her were largely overblown. She's moderate compared to people like Sanders but still falls sightly to the left of Obama.
Seriously, I keep hearing about how people think she's the worst ever but never find anything really substantive.
so do you realize that “BUT HILARY” is stupid when HE IS PRESIDENT? Talking about hypotheticals is fucking dumb. We’re holding the man in charge accountable. You want to go after Hilary because....
hes a fraud and a conman and you cant stop defending him even after admitting as such.
Hes in charge. So we’re talking about HIS actions. Stop deflecting because you were proven wrong in your first post.
Growing by accepting your own stupid statements were wrong is for your own good lol
Then why did you vote for her then?
He can’t keep his story straight for one second it’s cute
Textbook concern trolling
Hillary would have done nothing about the contracts being handed out to lobbyists by congress. She laughed about her defending a child rapist. She supported the continue surveillance of everyone in the country despite the spying not stopping a single terrorist. She actively dismisses the opinion of the electorate that disagrees with her. She dislikes minorities owning guns. She loves war and foreign intervention. She pushed for drone bombing in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and else where that have killed civilians and destroyed hospitals just continuing the cycle of terrorism. She ignores the injustices committed by Saudi Arabia. She only cares about war profiteering and her own rise to power. She represents everything that is broken about our system. Her, and members of both parties, bask in extreme wealth while pretending to care about the common man. They exploit us to fund their elitism and exploitation of freedom; violations of privacy, endless inequality, corporatism, and perpetual violence.
She is pretty mediocre, I guess.
Yet you said you voted for her...................................
Starting out with what Hillary "would have done" in a topic trying to defend/deflect from what Trump, our actual president, actually did
You sure as hell shit on Hillary way more than Trump dude.
Hillary also wouldn't have called to build a stupid wall, destroy funding for all the safety nets the public had, destroy dodd-frank, destroy obamacare, increase the military budget to 700 billion a year, appoint known degenerates to her secretarial cabinet, call half of americans as supposed traitors for not pandering to her whims, I could also go on for miles and miles here.
Most of these are blatantly false, speculation, or outright opinion.
The ones that aren't are positions pretty much in line with the mainstream of the Democratic Party and aren't special to her and are at worst on par with anyone more right leaning.
Like I said, that's because we all know what is wrong with Trump. Trump has plunged the country to be even more polarized. Trump refuses to be against white supremacists. Trump is a celebrity that says things for shock value. Trump sold billions of dollars of weapons to an extremist regime. He empowers bankers and deregulated the financial sector. He doesn't care at all about the lives of individuals being affected by the shutdown or immigration. He is destroying the environment and doesn't even believe in global warming. He is openly racist. Like, these are things that everyone knows and don't need to be said. If this was r/The_Donald I could understand being upset at defending Trump, but this is Facepunch. Pretty much everyone here knows Trump is bad.
So now he does exactly what he warned people not to do in the first place.
mjkey. You suck as a troll.
I can't believe people are still talking about Hillary three years after the election. Get over it.
This is what I meant by the "I'll probably get banned." Any dissenting opinion on Facepunch is deemed trolling. I'm not sure if there is anything else to say here. I'll just leave it at this:
Trump's exact meaning of the bad thing is irrelevant when what he said was bad to begin with.
Did i have a stroke or something, cause im having a hard time what the fuck is the point or meaning of this statement.
If you believe this then why are you bending over to give Donald Trump, notoriously deceitful peddler of lies and false hope, the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his wall statements? You seem to have a general disdain for politicians who are dishonest but you have no problem with Trump's repeated claims that Mexico would pay for the wall before ultimately holding the government itself hostage until taxpayers foot the bill?
Here's a novel idea: You can be critical of two things at the same time.
Let me break it down for you. People are critical of the following regarding Trump's Wall proposal:
The idea of the wall including its efficacy and cost
Trump's dishonesty about how the wall was supposed to be funded
These things aren't contradictory, nor does it undermine one argument by making the other. I see no issue here.
dissenting opinion isn't trolling and has never ever gotten anyone banned
Except when its Garry.
