https://theweek.com/speedreads/818635/trump-raising-money-send-fake-bricks-pelosi-schumers-offices President Trump is now fundraising off the ongoing government shutdown in the most Trump-y way imaginable. The president's team on Friday launched a new website called Build the Border Wall, which calls for his supporters to donate money in exchange for sending a fake brick to the offices of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). This, the website says, was Trump's very own "brilliant idea," to "make sure Chuck and Nancy have no choice but to listen to the American people." Trump's 2020 campaign manager told The Wall Street Journal about the idea just minutes before the fundraising call went out. "Since Chuck and Nancy keep stonewalling the president, we'll send the wall to them, brick by brick, until they agree to secure the border," he said. Donating $20.20 will send a single foam brick, but there are options to send as many as seven bricks for $140. And yes, supporters can choose whether their brick goes to Pelosi or Schumer. This campaign comes in spite of Trump's recent references to his wall as being made out of steel slats.
the idea of Trump supporters sending / having any package by mail sent to these people is unsettling enough with recent events.
This is perfectly normal behaviour from functioning adults, let alone professionals.
Awesome. Just bought the seven package. Have fun with cold stone Pelosi you stupid bitch. After next week's paycheck and Schumer's fucking next
So now americans aren't even paying for a real wall. Holy shit.
I have a bridge to sell ya…
spending too much on alex jones' snake oil to double whammy them both on one paycheck eh?
What a gigantic waste of time and money kinda like the wall

Would it not be cheaper just to mail them a real brick yourself? I mean bricks are pretty heavy but they're also pretty cheap.
How much you wanna bet he doesn’t even send out the bricks? How much you wanna bet the money doesn’t even go to the wall?
lmfao you spent your free spending money to a conman to ship fake bricks to a congress woman who will most likely send it right back or refuse packages from said company. The wall isn't even being made from brick, which makes this even more retarded.
Two posts above you. They already discovered that there are no actual bricks being sent. All the money is actually going into Trump and the RNC's coffers.
man I got a stack of 10lb cobbler bricks in my back yard. Like if you sent those kind of bricks people would know you mean business.
You've been conned
I now regret posting this.
Ah, got ninja’d by it. Amazing to see someone excited to get conned by the government. A fool and their money is easily parted it seems.
Wanna buy me a $300k house with a 4 bed 2 bath? I heard it'd own the libs.
Yeah. No. Nice try Your the dumb one not me.
You're*
Sheep Tax victim spotted. https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/1086385967102074882 As @Borealis posted above, lmao I hope you voted Trump because he said he'd lower your taxes, too. The fine print reveals the scam.
So if you're not dumb: Why didn't you just donate directly to the GOP? That's literally where all your money's going. Somehow I suspect you impulse bought the bunch of them because you thought you'd be owning the libs where all you wound up owning was yourself.
He's trolling, ignore him. Read his post history if you don't believe it.
A fool and his money is soon parted.
Not even the government, conned by the President for his personal re-election campaign fund. I sense a cash bonfire in your future.
It's the message alone that it sends. They're business is not wanted. Don't always believe everything you hear on twitter, kids.
The only people hearing the message is the GOP. They're not going to broadcast the amount of money they sequestered for the party rather than sending bricks because people might be offended to learn that they didn't buy what was advertised in the large print. It sends no message except 'I am gullible, take my money'. Nor what's written in the fine print, apparently.
He literally copypasted the terms from the official website, what is there to lie about? https://donate.donaldjtrump.com/send-nancy-a-brick https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109818/0f7ce455-6214-4462-84cd-69b9cb9161a8/chrome_2019-01-19_01-24-20.png
Just when you think Frito from Idiocracy could never possibly exists, he comes down from the heavens as god's blight to the world. https://youtu.be/QvSkiTYshtI
Only message it sends is that a fool and his money are easily parted.
