That is a good way of putting it, and I concede. That would be an agreeable compromise.
A step closer to a safer future, is compromise.
but... you're wrong this isn't so mch forcing onto an unwilling subject by that logic, everybody is unwilling You think people like to get shots? Nobody goes "mmm I love me sum needle in my arm, especially that after taste that leaves the whole area weak and tender to any sort of strain!" People get vaccinated because its an obligation. Because by doing so you are MUUCH less likely to get sick, and best of all, you won't get other people sick either. The next fucker that talks about autism from vaccines should get a fucking slap in the face and be publicly shamed as a fucking IDIOT. God fucking damn does anti-vaccination piss me off. One fucking job. One simple thing to do, and people fuck it up because they're dumb as FUCK.
I know this is late but PLEASE be trolling. This is going to fuck up their entire lives. No passports, no license, and no jobs in some states....

Naw I think shooting all of someone's limbs and head off is a very good metaphor for what not vaccinating is doing
I think the argument here is simplifying the act of getting stabbed with a needle to somehow be comparable to dying of a preventable disease because some idiot didn't want to get vaccinations. You have a right to not be stabbed. You have a right to life. The right of one immunocompromised person to not be killed in this instance trumps the right for someone to not get vaccinated. At that point the only option to protect the immunocompromised's rights would be to separate the two, either by restricting movement and participation in society for either (which is dumb) or just force the guy/child to get vaccinated. The fallacy that caused this whole argument is simplifying body autonomy of not getting vaccinated and not dying of disease to be equal, which they aren't.
It's even worse than that. Even if the child would understand the consequence of vaccination, present them with a big needle and nine out of ten would still back out.
It's only later as I grew up that I realized getting my shots was a good thing. I would assume most other kids are the same way. You're skins all soft as a little child so of course it's painful, as you get older your skin naturally gets more weathered and the pain becomes trivial. I blame that one quack piece for saying that vaccines cause autism. They don't, but even if they did I'd rather have a child who's a bit eccentric then dead.
Nope, it's a real legit movement. Not as high vis as the Anti-vax movement but it's all over Anti-vax and 'alternative parenting' Facebook groups (you can easily find a number of groups + the occasional post on Anti-Vax/alternative parenting pages), and old forums when those where popular.
The idea of putting "my body my rights" above the wellbeing of those around you by risking spreading deadly diseases is honestly psychopathic
How the everloving fuck has the anti-vax thing gone from some batshit insane corner of the internet that you'd see among the Alex Jones types to a legitimate political issue? Why is it that after Wakefield was so thoroughly assblasted with studies disproving him, people still believe this shit? These people are legitimately killing others through their complete stupidity. The people who can't get these vaccinations are going to fucking die. Them and their plague-monkey children are going to kill the immuno-compromised, the elderly, infants, and all these other groups of people who legitimately can't get the vaccine. These people can fuck right off into the sun never to be seen again.
It does not fucking matter if you want vaccines or not or whatever silly magical, stupid, asshole, useless, retarded, useless, dipshit, dumbass, moron, idiotic, cave-dwelling, living under a rock type of beliefs you have. Does not matter if you think it's taking away a person rights, or if you got some silly belief that we should vac till 18 and let them decide. It does not matter what stupid ass personal beliefs you have. None of what you think matters. Vaccines matter. Vaccines work, and they prevent us from being wiped out in the millions by diseases we have not dealt with in years. I have no room in my heart for these folks and those who support them. You can not pull some bullshit like Zombinine is preaching. "Oh my personal beliefs" Get the fuck outta here with that fence riding shit. This isn't something you can be on the fence about, either you're pro-vac or anti-vax. There is not room in this world for people who want to hold back the human race and keep us from moving forward.
Legitimately would not be surprised if Russia was organization these ridiculous protests via cyber. And if that sounds completely ridiculous to you, you should probably know that it already happened in 2016.
Might as well be "People protest to keep doors and windows open amid snowstorm deaths"
Doesn't really apply because that'd mean they'd be only endangering themselves while going against vaccination poses a danger to EVERYONE. The stupidity of this can never be emphasized enough.
Can we make this pic reality please, minus the anti-semetic imagery of course.
wtf vaccines are awesome
