Reminder that there was actually a large collection of wannabe nazis and political organizations that mushroomed in america in the runup to the war. Funny thing was, most of them decided to book it after the war's end.
I don't know if you knew this and were consciously referencing it or not, but Trump already used "Finish The Wall" slogans/banners/etc at his latest Trump rally, like a week or so back.
Lets look at this another way. The immigration crisis has been going on for multiple decades. The numbers of illegals coming into the country have actually decreased significantly. If it wasn't a crisis when illegal immigration was at its peak, why would it he an emergency now?
Thats probably going to be one of the main arguments used in lawsuits.
This is such a stupid thing to do. He's going to declare the emergency, get it repealed in the court system, and set a horrible precedent that emergencies can be used to get around congress.
I don't think a lot those 30-40 percent are Nazi's, maybe like 5-10. The problem is that the GOP has built up an era of apologists, that won't call out Trump for bad things but will stand behind him because of party mentality.
A lot of them also think the media just overplays everything that he does, this not being any exception. Just spoke to a conservative friend and he dosen't think this precedent could be possibly abused for anything else and its their to stop a legitimate problem.
