My favorite thing of the whole NPC meme is the people who spam it towards anyone who has a different opinion are more of an NPC theirself. I got called every buzzword imaginable followed by NPC on reddit for stating the gif where trump scratched with his middle finger pointing towards another political figure and smirking afterwards is immature.
It doesn't strike them as at all ironic that a show about collecting and organizing investigative journalism from many different sources is somehow the npc show? John Oliver is many things: a weasle with bad eyewear, a shaved Muppet with horrible taste in haircuts, and an Emmy award winning show runner: but he is not a man that regurgitates info with no regard for where it came from.
This NPC meme just the right wing version of calling everyone a russian bot. Instantly start spouting your buzzword of choice when you see someone with an opinion you don't like.
It's almost as if they're programmed to respond to opposing opinions in a similar way each time. Really gets my old almonds all fired up............
The funniest part of the NPC meme is how easily reversible it is. all you have to do is change "Orange man bad" to "Orange man good" and it's substantively the fucking same.
I'm said 4chan culture now is just a series of different wojak and pepe edits. It's like GG and the election sucked out all of the urge for them to be creative or try different things.
Well it's either the fact that they haven't watched his show and just go "talk show man bad" (which imo would be really ironic). Or it's the fact that they do the thing that a lot of "internet right leaning people" do and completely ignore any and all context in the few things they've seen from him and think "wow this lefty dude just hates the meme president".
what's interesting to me is that it's ultimately just another instance of obvious projection coming from the right. They chanted "lock her up!" while supporting the blatantly corrupt businessman as their candidate. They still regurgitate that "so much for the tolerant left" line, even after that guy drove his car into protestors, after the shootings, the mailbombs... and more. They continue to respond "fake news!" to anything inconvenient, while spreading disinformation through social media. There's even that study that suggests that cuckoldry fetishes are more common among right wingers...
Of course those same people are going to accuse others of mindlessly repeating groupthink by mindlessly repeating groupthink. If they accuse the left of something, it's practically guaranteed to be something they hate about themselves.
"Orange fan sad" is the common response I see to anyone using the NPC meme.
What's also funny is how they accuse any attacks or violence coming from right wingers as being "hoaxes meant to make conservatives look bad" and vilify people for "blaming all Trump voters", but whenever a left winger does some kind of attack/violence, they shame everyone within the liberal political affiliation or attack those who speculate the idea of a hoax being at play .
Everyone with imagination and creativity left and was replaced by retards who need an acceptable target to indirectly (and sometimes directly) bully and get handjobs from other like-minded retards.
"Everyone who disagrees with me has been programmed to think that way and I will use this fact against them to win any argument", says anonymous loser who is dependent on a meme spam imageboard to come to that conclusion.
In my experience on this very forum these people are also brazen enough to tell a group of people "I'M the only one who understands things anybody because I'M the smartest one here" as well.

Over the past few years I've had the opportunity to watch two definite narcissists (Trump and Derek Smart) do their thing and I can conclude that there is a 1:1 correlation between the intensity of someone's insecurity complex and the frequency and intensity of their projection. I have witnessed the human intellect effortlessly put IMAX projectors to shame.
If we could harness that energy we wouldn't need to build giant solar farms in the desert, just put the boiling column from the solar farm in the center of a stadium, fill the seats with insecure people, and then just sit back and let it happen.
The first time I had ever heard of the NPC meme I instantly thought of protagonist/main character syndrome. I mean, imagine acting like you're the only one who is conscious of the things they say. You would have to believe you're the center of the universe, not realizing you are just as equally insignificant as everyone else. It just makes no sense and the people who use this meme are just as bland as the fucking meme itself. Like on top of the message itself being inherently shortsighted, the meme itself is just fucking unfunny. Wojak usually warrants at least a chuckle, and they somehow managed to make Wojak unfunny.
Yes, my second biggest complaint about this meme is that it's a low-tier meme.

There's a reason they hired a Brit to host the show. When we're not insulting our mates (it's how we say hi), we're self deprecating instead. A perfect fit for this kind of show host!
The thing about pepe and wojak is that they don't require any sort of effort or creative ability to make. They are defined by the fact that every edit makes them progressively shittier and uglier. Why spend the effort it takes to make something appealing or charming when you could create brain-damaged wojak shitting in his own mouth in five seconds in MS Paint? It's a race to the bottom driven by the fact that the objective isn't to create something to appeal to people, but rather to annoy people.
Wow, that seems like a lot of energy and ingenuity to make a fairly low effort meme shitpost. All that work to get the exposure, and then the punchline wasn't even very good.

I remember when taking a strong moral stance on 4chan would get you labelled as a "moralfag" and everything was just done for the sheer hilarity of it.
Now we have shit like 4chan users trying to sabotage a balloon caricature of the president because it might hurt his feelings- a few years ago if you told 4chan users that a prank would piss the president of the united states off so badly that he would angrily shitpost on twitter about it, they would have shit their stained undies in glee and if possible tried to create even more meme heavy balloons to maximise the social media reaction.

The NPC meme is so hypocritical because the left is critical of their own party and everyone has a say in how it could improve, while the right is "INFALLIBLE GOD EMPEROR MAGA." about everything Trump does. They react the same predictable way to everything he does - you know, like an NPC...

Exactly, remember in his show, he got a few shots at himself. From getting the Dalai Lama's demon to making a $7000 jacket worthless by wearing it, to having the late Stephen Hawking burn him, all this would do is get him to mock himself a bit more and continue.
