• Time to choose: UK Parliament set for crucial vote on May's Brexit deal

I thought after X amount of signatures, Parliament has to debate the topic? Did they do that?
The debate is scheduled to take place on Monday, though depending on what happens this evening and when/if May's Deal is voted on next week or this week then it could be delayed.
Labour chief whip says party will be supporting Confirmatory public vote (M) – Margaret Beckett (Labour) with the inclusion of Labour’s alternative plan (K) – Jeremy Corbyn on the hypothetical vote.

Is it over?
Very strong and stable leadership
From what I understand she pretty much saying to them "Vote for my deal and then I will stand down"
she actually said that 'I will resign if my deal passes' which is terrible, because it's either a) a snide admission that she isn't going anywhere or b) trying to get the ERG and other hard right Tories to vote for her deal with the promise of power thereafter both are shit
Of course, this all depends if the Speaker of the House will allow the deal to be brought forwards for a vote baring in mind that it was said that unless there had been significant changes to it then it would not be allowed to be voted on. So as much as she can turn about and say "Votes for the deal and I'll step down" It may not even be allowed to be voted on at all.
Considering how May got into power into originally, I'm pretty concerned we will see a Prime Minster Boris Johnson. And then we all will be truely fucked.
The worst thing about May is that by far she's the best of a bad lot.
Ehhhhh, I think Boris Johnson has missed his shot. A lot of his appeal once upon a time was 'Hahaha look at the funny British man spouting bollocks about rhubarb,' but then people realised he's more than a cartoon character, and is actually an imperialist. The same type of people who want Boris Johnson are the kind of people who want Jacob Rees-Mogg, and, as long as Moggy is around, they'll always prefer him because he's less controversial. Mogg might hate those nasty foreigners, but he can hide it behind a monocle, cup of tea and witty remarks; Boris Johnson won't shut up about the wonders of the British Empire and has revealed he has the charisma of a dung beetle.
I legitimately can't think of or name a single Tory MP who'd be in the PM running who isn't a massive cunt.
Sajid Javid is the least cunty candidate, and he ticks diversity points whilst also having a relatively normal upbringing. He's the Conservative's best shot at convincing people they don't hate the poor; Sajid made his own way through life; comprehensive school, got bullied, went to university, ended up in banking. The main problem with Javid is he's pro-Rand and pro-Thatcher, which could shatter his public image because I don't think many people in the UK would take Atlas Shrugged seriously. He'd probably fall right into the pockets of banks and businesses, though, but expectations of politicians have never been high. He's not a nice guy, and he's had a fair share of controversies, but he's transparent, and I think the country would appreciate a politician they can predict from day 1, rather than Theresa May's sudden descent into uselessness. Plus the whole Shamima Begum won him a few popularity points, but it's up to you to decide whether or not he made the right call.
Isn't it a bit cowardly for her to jump ship as soon as she blows a hole in the side of said ship?
Following in the footsteps of her predecessor.
God no, his voting pattern on anything related to Taxes and Benefits is laughably evil. Pro banks, anti union, anti NHS, wants to cut the fuck out of benefits even more than they already are, he can go fuck himself with a spear.
Seems to be the standard nowadays, looking at you Cameron & Farage.
Except that's kinda Tories in a nutshell. You're not going to find a pro-union Conservative because, in their eyes, unions damage the economy. Nor will you find an anti-bank or business Tory. I can see that my posts might be misinterpreted as me supporting Javid, which I'm definitely not, but his evil voting pattern is not uncommon. He's one of many that, unless it benefits them, has forgotten the state got them where they are today. Cunt, definitely. Biggest cunt? Far from it, though I can see your point. There's no amazing front-runner politicians on either side (though I would like to see how Starmer would do.)
So if a deal is agreed that means we leave on the 22nd of May and she will leave shortly after that, so June really will be the end of May.
So basically, she knows she's shit and is using the appeal of her resignation in an attempt to turn around historic defeats. If this fails Theresa May will have invented new lows.
https://twitter.com/Peston/status/1110983170797813761 Plus, the DUP still seem against it, having dropped a statement they were going to make tonight. It seems that no matter how many blood sacrifices May makes, she still doesn't seem able to find the numbers to actually succeed.
When are the votes due to be made?
Results are due in at around 9:30pm GMT, so around an hour and a half from this post.
I'm taking a nap then
Wait the actual vote is happening tonight?Jesus christ I've not had nearly enough time to worry about this aaagh

Reminder the DUP cost the taxpayer a Billion pounds.
