Time to choose: UK Parliament set for crucial vote on May's Brexit deal

Abort Article 50, you fucking pompous lunatic, May.
This is what it looks like when something is not too big to fail, but too big stupid to admit failing. My prediction that the UK is going to crash out with no deal because of inability to follow simple instructions on a national governance level is, sadly, looking like it's got high odds.
This self imposed political brinkmanship is just getting crazier by the day.
Tusk is now saying we are only getting a extension if May's deal is agreed, Macron is considering vetoing an extension. We actually ARE fucked now.
thanks EU. really good that.
I predict that Labour will show support for the deal, but only if May will allow for a second referendum.
Which she will likely won't.
So.
Yeah.
Shit.
honestly if no deal goes through, i give it at most a couple years before we're crawling back. snapping from a first-world country to a borderline humanitarian crisis just isn't tenable in any respect, and it's not like anybody is actually planning to stop complaining once it goes through. it's just going to be an absolute mess for all camps and god knows what will come out the other side
General Election Hype

The UK will look up and shout "save us" and Tusk will whisper "no"
ignore quote, I hate mobile.
Well, that's certainly gonna be interesting. May's shitty deal, no deal or revoke A50. Let's see what happens.

May is supposedly gonna speak to the nation tonight, but unsurprisingly it looks like she will just be saying the same old shit we've heard a thousand times

FUCKING CANCEL IT ALREADY.
Watch as the alt-right tries to disown this mess after it creates economic chaos. They'll say May was a bad negotiator etc and the EU was unfair
Hold on a moment.
I know that for the delay, it only requires one of the member states to fuck us over. Wouldn't that be the same case if the UK was to rejoin the EU a few years down the line? (or anyone trying to join the EU at that matter)
Westminster has seriously fucked us.
Yep. The only thing we can do unilaterally (if we do it in the next 9 days) is revoke Article 50 completely. Anything else would require other countries' consent
Sadly, economic tragedies and hardships tend to fuel fascism as people get more desperate, this is exactly what the likes of UKIP want.
This could also trigger a global recession, ain't good.
Could? More like already is.
Man I'm anxious as fuck cause I cannot trust TM to do what's best for the country rather than what's best for her party's image
I think the damage to her party's image has been done already, ain't any hope in saving that. Can't say Labour is doing much better either, at least that's the consensus in the North East which is predominantly Labour-voting.
I'm scared for another GE but what is this alternative to the country just exploding.
A general election is gonna be shambolic as well because nobody wants to be in TM's position. I agree labour has been shocking throughout this ordeal by not mentioning anything about half of the country until their balls were squeezed a week ago saying they might have a meaningful vote. But again, anything is better than Brexit & no deal
So there is a parliament petition on revoking article 50 trending on twitter:
Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU.

While absolutely nothing comes of these things, it is worth while that the parliament petition is something the government has to at least respond to and be considered for debate in parliament at 100,000 signatures.
So if anything, it's just more ammo for those in parliament wanting to stop this hard brexit from happening. It's nice for an actual figure to be seen.
If TMay made even just one concession on her red lines then the no-deal scenario could be avoided. Sure, the options presented are all downgrades from being a member, but I would have to think that Remain MPs would've got the government's position passed if one of these models was pursued.

And just 50 minutes after you posted that, its hit 100k.
wow May just said that we (the people) don't want a second referendum, she really has a way to make me pissed off
"It isn't my fault! It is THEIRS!" Is pretty much what she just said.
When the figurehead of the executive attacks the democratically elected legislature and attempts to channel outrage in the public. Fascist behaviour from TMay.
All this talk about how having a second ref will 'destroy public trust', mother fuck public trust in our dumpster fire of a political system has been destroyed for years with no sign of improving. I honestly don't think it could get any worse.

Please lets go nuclear.
A sane government would have left their pride at the door and realised what a colossal mess this whole thing is and called it off, but budget cuts mean that sanity had to be rationed and we fresh out
Mrs May is unique in our constitutional history in refusing to accept the will of the House of Commons. This streak was most clearly on display on Wednesday when she refused to act on her own motion from last week which said she would seek a long extension to Article 50 if her deal had not passed by now.
She has also reneged on the idea of indicative votes to determine the will of the House, something her deputy promised only days ago. She has repeatedly flouted convention by not resigning after the major defeat of legislation.
She thought she could just ignore the rules of the Commons which say they must not vote on something more than once. She has refused to rule out no deal despite the fact that, again, the House of Commons voted for such a move twice.
The PM's conduct puts parliament's long-term vitality in peril
