He made the unorthodox proposal, which risks grinding Congress to a halt if Democrats or Republicans are united in opposition to a bill, as he launched a second phase of his effort to drum up support for a possible independent presidential campaign with a policy speech in Miami. The speech was the first of a series of policy addresses Schultz plans to make in coming weeks to lay out his vision of a post-partisan presidential campaign. His advisers say he has been encouraged by the reception to his book tour over the last six weeks, despite criticism from many Democrats that he could divide the anti-Trump vote, a notion he rejects. Wednesday’s speech marked the beginning of an effort to add specifics to his broad appeals for bipartisanship and centrism. Schultz is gambling that despite the evident partisan passions of the moment, there remains an appetite for a centrist message that views both parties as edging toward extremism.
Good thing you won't be president you bumbling cockhead
Translation: Right Wing and Neoliberal bills only.
Guess which political party will benefit from this here's a hint: it's the obstructionist party who benefits from the government not running smoothly
Howard Schultz is blackmailing Democrats to nominate Biden or he'll run. He wants to split the vote to help Trump to keep his tax cuts.
Funny that he thinks he's anyone significant enough to split the vote. He's not a Teddy Roosevelt. He's a corrupt billionaire who nobody has heard of before. Nobody wants him in office. He won't be able to do shit.
Fuck off Schulz, you billionaire trash fire.
He doesn't want to be. The whole reason he's thinking about running is so he can spoil the dem vote and guarantee Trump a second term. He, and the other rich fucks like himself, are deathly afraid of the fiscal consequences of a left POTUS and a left Senate come 2020; they know their tax rates are going to skyrocket and they're not going to get away with anywhere near as much bullshit as they can do with a right leaning government. This doubly applies if it's someone like Sanders or AOC that gets the White House, because someone like that is liable to apply a literal 50+ percent tax on his income bracket. Schultz does not want the White House, he wants four more years of Trump.
It's pretty telling that this guy is only getting publicity because he's rich as fuck. Oligarchy.
To the highest bidder instead
