Democrats upset over Omar seeking primary challenger

Some Minnesota Democrats, aghast at controversial comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), are taking initial steps to recruit a candidate to run against her in next year's primary election, seeking to buck history in one of the nation's most progressive legislative districts.
Omar got 70% of the vote in her district
Criticism of a country is not criticism of a race, religion, or people.
Keep an eye on this reelection campaign. Whether she wins or loses she sets a big precedent on how strong a well funded candidate can effect an incumbent, this supposed race will set the tone for how strong the democratic whips really are.
Hm. How unfortunate the democrats would rather tear at each other rather than taking advantage of the fact the republicans will be at their most vulnerable this year and have handed them every opportunity to win.
I'm sure they're actually aware of that but unfortunately this is the usual for the US, not supporting Israel gets you vilified by both the Democrats and Republicans parties, it has nothing to do with racism and it's just an excuse to get rid of someone that dislikes Israel.
But it was a criticism of the boat that they're all cruising on, and don't want rocked.
Watch the most lukewarm neo liberal challenge her and get smashed, to the surprise of no one but old guard democrats.
I thought the title meant that Democrats were upset because Omar was trying to recruit someone to run against herself in a primary
The republican in that district really stood no chance against a democrat with any amount of enthusiasm behind them, it's the twin cities. Her opponent didn't campaign for shit though, I never heard a radio ad, never got anything in the mail, nothin. Saw a billboard or 2 and a couple of my friends brought her up once.
there should be a comma in there. Democrats upset over omar, seeking primary challenger.
