both seem too exhausted to do a full scale war against each other, it'd just wipe the both of them out; especially with Turkie appearing to be a looming threat
Relations between the SDF and the Syrian State have been pretty good since the SAA stepped in when America fled with its tail between its toes. Neither of them want to fight each other, as even if the SAA is in a much better position, it still has rebels as well as Turkey to deal with. I see it much more likely that the current territory of the SDF will be re-integrated into Syria although with a great deal of autonomy.
