I hope Romney holds true to his promise not to be a Trump stooge, but I'll hold out for more than a single vote to measure his principles.
Still, good that he voted in favor regardless.
Wouldn't surprise me if Romney knows it will just get vetoed anyway and won't get the necessary votes to override the veto. So he is using this to look good.
What an articulate response from Don Don.
surprised so many republicans voted for it; was expecting it to be more down to the wire
There are few true Trumpsters in the Senate, Democratic colleagues have stated how much they hate him in private.
Considering the current plan (as far as I'm aware) for funding the border wall is taking money from the military budget, I can see why the vote isn't so close.
Aww, and here I thought it would be hilarious if he didn't veto it for some bizarre Trump-ian reason.
"Actually my fuhrer, the bill says that they're rejecting the initial deal to instead give you double wall money and a giant military parade to honour your greatness. Also another Big Mac and Diet Coke."

Time for Trump to put his money where his mouth is, if he has any left.
Does this tweet count as official policy? Can he just bang a rubber mallet on his high chair?
I think he's under the impression that executive actions are conducted via tweets. Nobody tell him the truth.
