Welp, t_d just launched a full-on raid against the_mueller.
Watch Reddit's administration do absolutely nothing despite raids being against site rules
So Barr cherry-picked some meaningless stuff and was as vague as possible about the rest of it? Shame, he could have kept his character if he was honest. Looks like it's up to Congress now.
So in other word's, Barr's summary on the report is about as reliable about Kim Jong's report on the stability of North Korea?
Sounds like someone's in denial. They found nothing substantial enough to prove collusion. It is what it is. Also the letter states to get a solid case against the president they have to prove willful intent and they cannot.
Let's wait for the report before we take the words of someone obviously not independent of the situation.
This is basically just enough for the right to get out ahead and go "See? No collusion" and hopefully take the wind out the Democratic effort to get the whole thing released. If absolutely nothing happened between Trump and Russia and it turns out he's a lovely man, why are so many people willing to lie to the FBI and go to prison for it? Why did a man who got a plea deal for his sentence during the investigation still lie to the FBI after claiming to cooperate?
They're using this to rev up the propaganda engine so Fox and right-wing social media can say he's innocent and it's a witch hunt, while they try to bury and avoid releasing the real report.
It's pretty much par the course of what I expected, if the report is inline with the conclusion Barr made I'll eat crow and say Trump didn't do anything. But it likely isn't as they don't want it to be public.
Going to be waiting a hot minute for that according to the letter. They got to litter it with black bars first. I also think it's just going to be hundreds of pages of what this summary letter states. The news had been hammering this so long you all are falling for the old if we say it enough it's true thing.
Yeah, this is their attempt to muddy the waters before the report even comes out. Fox'll run with it just like how they (I admit I'm paraphrasing here) took Cohen's "You're not gonna get me to say there's no collusion" quote at the hearing out of context and just chopped it up to say "there's no collusion".
I'll read the report myself, black bars or not, and make my own conclusion before taking the words of a non-independent party.
Don't even mind him. Now that there's a slight opening for his side, he's decided to crawl out of the woodwork and I'm sure there'll be a few more of 'em popping up here before the full report is released. I'm sure that if the full report comes out and is damning to Trump, he'll immediately go silent and scurry away again.
Just like how the gop rely on lies to spread their propaganda and play to the fears of their desired vote bank? sit down, have a good long think about what you're trying to imply here, and then come back, unless you like making a fool of yourself.
