Mueller did not find the Trump campaign conspired with Russia: attorney general

I don't believe a word that Trump or any of his thugs say. They lied about the size of the inauguration crowd. They have less than zero credibility.
You are severely underestimating the stupidity of some voters
Not at all. Proving a charge is hard and justice being served is a very long process even when it's not a case of such high stakes. It's not a report of "here's some fishy stuff but we don't know for sure," and someone like Mueller isn't going to recommend indictment on anything less than seeming certainty. But also I said "likely end" on purpose. It was a possibility, but never the dominant one. The dominant one was always going to be something that's not an exoneration but feels unsatisfying, and I think the hype train of people worshiping Mueller and expecting to see a sitting president arrested and thrown in prison before the end of his term is a fantasy that gives the right ammo.
Still, the way things are right now stinks (and not in the sense of "this sucks"). We need to see the full report.
well I'm certainly not a fan of the UBI thing, and I'm not exactly rich either.
what’s more scary the Russian government interfering with our elections or the fact that Trump got elected entirely because he’s Trump.
yikes America let’s hope 2020 looks good
Another loss for democrats. Not surprising.
The Russian government did interfere with our elections. This is the consensus of the entire intelligence community. It is nearly indisputable.
At question is whether Donald Trump himself knew about or directed this interference. But that doesn't change that the interference happened.
Except it's not. This is clearly withholding info. Sit down
Is it really a loss if the GOP congress is just simply refusing to act on it because of partisan bias, as opposed to there being a genuine innocence on Trump's part?
all the people coming out of the woodwork with "See!!11!" is hilarious
Considering what they're basing it on, and how early, it's just pathetic. So nothing new from those people.
If you disparaged the legitimacy of the Mueller probe but now completely accept this "exoneration" open your fucking eyes.
Oh please, like the right are any better.

If the report basically sets Trump free why do they want to burn it and with hold it?
I'm not saying anything about this until either the full report is released or Mueller testifies in public. Barr's summary means nothing.
I want to see whats in that report. Not since it would get Trump impeached, the Republicans already stated they are party before country, and the Dem says they don't want to impeach, but since it could actually hurt Trump winning in 2020.
Honestly, I never really had a whole lot of faith in the whole report of Russian collusion finally taking Trump down thing.
That's not to say I believe he's innocent of collusion, and even if he was, there's a big enough pile of crimes Trump has committed that you'd think something would have to stick right?.
But the problem is, that's exactly my point. Trump gets away with shit that would sink any other presidency on a weekly basis. When was the last time some super rich bastard actually had to face the music when they broke the law?.
Trump isn't the only corrupt politician waddling around right now, he's just so much worse at hiding it. Why would putting that corruption on show make anyone with the power to do so actually do anything about it?
These people belong to a class so far out of our reach that there really isn't any way to hold them accountable for anything they do- Trump is just a particularly infuriating case because the corruption is so blatant.
Again, don't mistake what I'm saying here, I'm interested to see what the full report says, and I'm pretty unconvinced by this whole "what do you know?!, he's clean as a whistle!!!" narrative- I just don't see what difference the findings could make. The powers that be will support their senile leader so long as he keeps appointing hard-right judges (bonus points if they are also literal rapists lmao) so they can push their far right agenda.
It's not even public yet. Hold your nutsacks, lets wait and see how this plays out.
They wonder why nobody takes them seriously and then they pull stuff like this.
Here's where the truth lies. Either the claims are true and the investigation is bullshit, therefore nobody can be properly exonerated by it. OR The investigation is a legitimate one and everything that's been said about from a certain side of the aisle has been BS this entire time.
You don't get to hear the results of something like this and then start fabricating a world in which you supported it all along just because you agree with the results. This would be like if they struck oil while building the wall and the left went "See, told ya we should be building the wall!"
For a report that conservatives say doesn't make Trump guilty in anyway they sure are doing everything in their power to lie about its contents and make sure it can't be publicly seen.
Yeah this is fucking weird. All I've heard from the right for the last year or so is that the investigation should be stopped at all costs and that it's a biased democrat witch hunt created just to take Trump down, and that they will never accept the results.
And now one guy has said "yup it's nothing!" and they are all shouting from the rooftops about how it clears Trump's name and the liberals have been turbo owned.
Shit, imagine if the full report actually does have some seriously shady findings on Trump and we have to watch them all pivot back to the witch hunt narrative again.
So when does the report release?
If I'd been accused of heinous crimes for several years and the media had been performing a "witch hunt" on my ass I'd want to frame every single page of that report and coat my walls with it.
Has the power of memes on his side. You know, the things that helped Trump secure his underdog position? Granted if I had to put money down I'd say that Bernie is the more likely contender but people dismissed Trump as a meme candidate early on and look where we are now.
I think the idea that Trump was memed into the whitehouse is a meme in and of itself.
I'm not saying online machinations don't play play a role in politics, but you do understand that there is a world outside of the internet and it's various subcultures, right?
Fo sure, but when he (or one of his campaign managers) first tweeted out that picture of him as a Pepe, a ton of people looked at it and said "Woah! He tweets memes like one of us!".
As I said though, Bernie's the more likely Democrat candidate for 2020, but Yang will probably be in the top three as well.
A lot of people over on Reddit are taking Barr's word for it. Since he didn't conclude that there was collusion there has therefore been no collusion.
Regardless of whether he knowingly committed collusion, he still did a lot of things that any other President would've been eaten alive over. Asking Russia to release emails, meeting with Putin alone, misusing campaign funds, etc. Tbh this report should not have been released until all investigations have completed, because now it just makes him look like a completely innocent victim.
