Mueller did not find the Trump campaign conspired with Russia: attorney general

so now its perfectly legal for a campaign to actively call for other countries to dump resources into our elections to get a desired outcome and everything you do to block the investigation is also cool.
and nobody thinks the executive is too shielded from the law
He says as he is bombarded with dumb ratings. I mean, free money, right?
You can not trust Barr all you want, but the fact is that him lying would be an extremely idiotic move, and anyone from congress could easily call him out and prove that he lied.
I don’t see why any republican wouldn’t want this report released, as it’s obvious there’s nothing substantial in the report. I for one want it released, but then again there’s still going to be the same people who ignore the evidence and try to hold on to any single shred of a possibility for Trump to have done something wrong.
There are more investigations that are still ongoing. Information relating to those investigations may be withheld in order to avoid compromising them, meaning the report itself might not be making conclusions because the results are not available yet. I doubt we'll know what all of those investigations prove and disprove until the 2020 elections, if not later.
as much as I love Yang, and as much as I want his radical idea of actually merely helping people, America is too stupid to even consider someone like him
Instead we'll just play kick the can every year with our issues and ignore them until they are fatal enough to be impossible to ignore. Eventually every issue we kick down to the next generation just gets bigger and bigger
We needed an Al Gore presidency and senate. It's already too late. We kicked that can and its slowly getting bigger each year, and we keep kicking it. Just like the shit that Yang wants is going to be kicked down the road until its too late.
Perhaps, but considering Mueller’s investigation took a year and 25 million dollars to conduct and came out inconclusive kind of sets a precedent for these future investigations. I doubt any other, smaller-scale investigation really has the possibility to uncover something new. As you said though they’re definitely going to wait until a day before a debate to release anything just like last year
The Mueller investigation spawned other investigations to handle matters that were not in the purview of the original investigation. The results of this one investigation don't mean anything for any other investigations.
Assuming that all investigations will go the same way is no different from people who assume that Barr is lying. Both sides are seeing what they want to see.
We need to wait for the investigations to complete so we have all the facts. Before that happens any conclusions that are made are based on incomplete information and possibly lies.
Trump isn't unique in this case, you can point at the obvious reality of serious bad shit going down all you like. But I think many people, myself included, no longer expect the existing system to push any reprecussions onto the ruling class whatsoever. The truth is that there's no justice to be found for men like Trump within this framework.
This administration frequently doubles down on the idiotic. So don't assume that Barr wouldn't do something dumb, it's only dumb when you're caught in the act.
is any blame going to go to the media who hyped this whole thing harder than no man's sky
So you’re saying that the Mueller report is based on incomplete information and lies? If the democrats want to investigate everything about Trump it’s going to take them 20 years and by the time they’re done they’ll be able to write a 5,000 page biographical report. You need to accept that there wasn’t any collusion and that Mueller didn’t find anything. I’m fine with us wasting millions more in tax dollars just so you have more evidence to deny
...an act in which he could absurdly easily be accused and proved guilty. Congress is going to see the report, you know. Any one of those people can call him out and provide evidence
Mueller handed off investigations that were not in the scope of his own investigation, so the results of those investigations can't be considered when making conclusions. All of the information in this report is what they've found so far (or a subset thereof if ongoing investigations can't be considered for this report), not all of the information that every investigation will find.
I'm not saying the report is based on lies, i'm saying that Barr could be lying to protect the President. There is reasonable doubt on account of Trump repeatedly attempting to stop the investigation. As a result, The credibility of the entire administration, including Trump appointees has been harmed.
Do you even know a thing about watergate?
If prior special councils are anything to go on here, Mueller isn’t done. He has Stones trial in November and more coming.
This is isn’t how this shit works and I’m so tired of people without historically informed perspectives running their mouths on this topic.
not in any big public fashion
the little guys have been chortling and adding another one to the tally
Ok, go ahead and wait for the rest of the investigations to finish. They’re going to come out with the exact same conclusion and you’re just going to deny them anyway. As I’ve said before, Barr isn’t a moron and he knows that lying can very easily be proven.
Forgive me, I forgot I had to be both an elitist and a historian to comment my opinion. These are both very different situations not including the fact that there’s nearly a fifty year difference between them
Any asshole can have an opinion, doesn't mean it's worthy of respect.
see exhibit A: Donald Trump
You don't know that.
The one good thing from that is the fact that Reddit is currently having one of the biggest meltdowns ever.
Not denying it. Doesn’t really excuse the fact this forum is an echo chamber and half the people who post here are elitists
But I do, much like how any smart person knew the Mueller report was going to come out with practically zero substantial evidence
You don't know what's in the report, you only know what Barr has said. Stop jumping to conclusions.
Come back when you have compelling arguments instead of ad hominem attacks.
I'd sure like to meet all these smart people you're talking about.
account created on 25 march 2019, check. posting only in a thread related to trump, check. implying anyone but themselves and those who agree with him aren't smart, check. Why shouldn't you be treated as a gimmick account?
For the record, people have limited patience when dealing with persons who refuse to learn and stubbornly cling on to outdated views that should have been gone many decades ago. If you refuse to adapt to a modern society, don't blame those who do for being indifferent.
Hey looks like you're right! Elitists do post here!
So, you believe in a conclusion unsanctioned by Mueller that was arrived at within hours, from a report including hundreds of subpoenas, and testimonies? Smart person my ass
Get a load of this shit:

What is going on with her face?
She's always looked like mr. potato head to me
thats just her face
Well her brain condensed into a tiny little black hole and her face is now collapsing inward from the gravity of her own dumbness.
It's what happens to people who willingly lie on a daily basis just to cover a piece of garbage like Trump
