Russian air force planes land in Venezuela carrying troops: reports

Let's hope Venezuelans will see this for what it is.
Not like it would do much good, its not like Vladimir Putin is the only person that makes these orders and etc. Obviously theres a lot of people working for a common goal in the government and killing Putin would, most likely, have done nothing good.
It's over.
Maduro knows this is a good proven deterrent against any kind of intervention when the shit hits the fan over there. No one in the region would dare to do anything now because of this. And the russians can have another staging post closer to spy on the US. This is a win-win for them... except for the people, of course.
The only hope for the venezuelan people now is to take matters into their own hands, but with the military supporting this shithead, if anything happens, it will be short lived.
I wonder if those are some kind of special forces that carry out secret operations to destabilize the country even further but I guess then we would not even be aware of this arrival. Perhaps I read to many Tom Clancy novels.
Nothing other than lmao from this post.
So its okay for USA to put nose everywhere but when Russia does the same its suddenly fucked up.
Whataboutism my ass. People should have ubderstood long ago that no superpower can ever be trustworthy. To be perfectly honest, the only reason anyone here will try and defend USA is just a product of US's propaganda and influence. Same, although oppositely aligned, sentiment you would find in Russians and Chinese.
I genuinely don't know if you're trying to imply Russia putting some troops in Venezuela is better than the U.S.
Who's defending that the US hasn't messed up other countries before? He was just saying that Russia hasn't left places in a better condition either
It's aggressive posturing like this that reminds me that the cold war never really ended. The US and Russia do things towards eachother without ever actually fighting, and that is the wierd part. Grabbing territory like this cannot really be responded to because any conflict between them has world ending potential consequences. It is so tense that it is pretty fuckin terrifying when you think about it.
It's sad that movements which challenge the domination of capital worldwide are often turned into pawns in the schemes of superpowers. I wish Chavez never died.
Chavez put Venezuela on this path, Maduro's a retard bus driver who got himself elected and then decided to keep doing what Chavez was doing but get even more greedy and abusive. Chavez pushed and Maduro continued the illusion of healthy growth and successful development, but it was the same old story of dictatorial corruption and graft rotting everything away under a convincing-looking surface.
Venezuela didn't get bullied by the Global Capitalist Cabal until it bled, it raped itself into being crippled by the same old greedy authoritarian bullshit that's brought down nations and kingdoms since organized civilization began.
It's a show of force to the Representatives and Congress in Washington the Kremlin is trying to show. Putin is a bad man and evil no doubt about that, I wouldn't mind marching right on into the square ready to put a bullet in his head, but Putin is not stupid and this act is merely a show of force because in the end Putin is not going to risk war and conflict for a mad man in power, it's a bluff. He's all tied up in Syria right now and he can either choose to feed/support Venezuela or Eastern Ukraine, he can't have both. Besides if they pledge allegiance to Russia and openly announced their change for communism, the people of Venezuela are just going to flee.
