• Disappointed fans of Mueller rethink the pedestal they built for him

This couldve been a headline from The Onion
To be completely open, I do feel a little proud of myself for having never put any hopes or stakes into this. It's not even out of of any cleverness on my part or anything. Rather an understanding that even if he got Trump, that's all he was gunna get. He was out to prove collusion, not fix the deeply rooted problems in our country. I'm of the opinion that Trump is a symptom of our problems, not the root cause.
A perfect end to this crazy season, it turns out all the evidence was just red herrings unintentionally left by a clueless buffoon. Seriously though, I won't believe it until the real report comes. The only sources we have at the moment still have reason to cover for him, and the monumental efforts to cover for him and hinder the investigation must mean something. If in the end the report is inconclusive, I trust Mueller fully to have done a well and good investigation. But for the time being, my gut tells me it isn't over yet.
this is giving me weird vibes of "where's the real birth certificate" if you took fox news as truth, this is how that must've felt. The massive dissonance of seeing an immature orange monkey puppet as the president of the US, must've been the same base emotion as seeing a black man say he was born in your home country as the president of the US. In the end, it comes down to how your source your information. I trust that Barr is full of shit based on previous slip-ups by trump, the differing circumstances of meeting other world leaders, and from the fact they won't release the report itself. I trust that there are massive demographics of african americans who were born on US soil, and that obama was one of them, and that through his entire political career it's impossible it wouldn't have come up before his presidency. To be honest, the world shouldn't need an FBI investigation into trump to see him unfit for office, all you have to do is ask whether you believe he could give a shit about you. If you're from Puerto Rico and lost everything to a hurricane, he's tweeted that he doesn't give a shit about you or sees you as human. If you've worked directly for him previously, he's shown that he'll fire you the instant you don't do exactly and only what he wants. I'm seriously starting to wonder how many trump supporters actually support him and how many just envy him.
