Pelosi asks Capitol Police to increase security for Ilhan Omar after Trump tweet

I mean it can be an agreeable statement that Trump is racist and I understand you, RevengeofTommywx, don't think it fits in this context, but picking at semantics is a time waster.
The real problem displayed here is Trump's continued ignorance of his influence as president with his actions resulting in rising domestic terrorism nationally, and arguably globally, and degrading bipartisanship efforts. Trump doesn't attempt to reel in his vocal base from performing or saying things against counterparts that work around him that are not Republican, and in fact revels in it.
It's a dangerous game because anyone uneducated or uninformed enough can get wrapped up in the hatred and feel confirmed and it takes a large effort to be informed and educated on American history and politics.
I've taken steps to be educated and informed and already have learned a large deal, but it takes an absence of ego, pride, and identity to understand it correctly or you'll only consume the information you want to read, hear, or see.
Are you having a fucking seizure?
On September 11th, 2001, terrorists hijacked two planes, crashing them into the world trade centre, killing over 3000 people. You could even see people jumping off the buildings to their death.
How is this explained by omar?
"Some people did something"
There is your fucking explanation you absolute idiot. I think you're refusing too see this because you might have to admit that you're wrong.
The christchurch shootings were a horrific and direct slaughter of a muslim community because they were muslims. The attacker went around and shot unarmed civilians, begging for their lives in broad daylight. He then went around and shot every body in the head to make sure they were dead. He live streamed this all on facebook. Truly a horrific event.
"Some guy did something"
Both of these scenarios have been downplayed just by saying something as dismissive as "some people did something" I would expect, and rightfully so, people to be up in anger at both scenarios for trying to under explain how serious and horrific these events were.
But you don't see that, because if you were to see that, you would be wrong, and we can't have that can we? All you have are ad-hominem attacks, trump is racist because she happens to be a muslim. I've never met such a disingenuous jackass on the internet, and that says a lot!

Are you? You're projecting again and relying solely on emotional manipulation to make your argument.
Why is that?
Is it because you don't have a single rational piece of arugmentation to apply here?
Both events are horrific, but describing them as "people did things" is accurate unfortunately. People did do things. It's little more than that at the heart of it. Do you have anything other than blatant emotional manipulation to pull out here
You're literally only using either event as an emotional tool to beat people over the head with.
The truly disgusting thing in this thread is that you think you can just use horrific events to beat people over the fucking head with your ideology. That's disgusting.
You literally haven't done any "explaining" in this thread though. You've screamed, you've yelled, you've jumped up and down, and pounded your fists like a little wee baby having a tantrum, but not once have you explained anything.
Go back to the crib and hopefully someone can comfort you.
A president's influence gives them a huge responsibility as a leader of the American people, so it would be his duty to ensure that Americans, especially his vocal base, are not seen as spiteful humans. It doesn't have to direct responses to hatred as any indirect response would be positive, but Trump, historically, does not do this. He in-fact fans the flames making things worse.
His tweets are probably the best example of this. I still remember his response to the Charlottesville rally, which confirmed the racist ideological practices' placement in the Republican base.
It's rather disappointing to see people are supposed to follow the footsteps of some of our greatest leaders who, before Trump, did a large amount of work to make America a country worth living, serving, and working for recede a decade or so resulting in so much lost progress.
9/11 is honestly one of the most successful terrorist attacks to ever take place considering you still can't even talk about it without people wanting you dead because you used a certain phrase that can be interpreted as playing the event down.
And the president is using that event to pit americans against other americans, he's doing the terrorists job for them.
"Never forget" ..."because its our excuse"
I know this guy is banned, but I also know there are more people who believe this and I think some context needs to be explained.
This is what Ilhan Omar said the CAIR event (using code instead of quote because new quote sucks ass):
Here’s the truth. For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen. Frankly, I’m tired of it. And every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.
You could argue this was poor wording (even thought this just off the top of her head and not rehearsed or anything), but she means that muslims are being heavily judged in this country just because a small number of them committed the worst terrorist attack in this country. It would be like harassing and profiling christians because of "cultural christian" terrorists like Anders Breivik. Her wording wasn't meant to downplay the attack itself, because she was talking about the people that did it, and the creation of CAIR, and how muslims are perceived and judged because of the terrorists' actions.
Not only that but team up with the brutal regime of the country that financed those terrorists that commited the attacks(saudis)
