Hell the fuck no. I hate saying it but, at this point he is really pushing to become president for life(dictator). This is a really dark time for our country and we must not stand for this. It is your duty as an American to protect your country from a ruling party such as this. If our founding fathers wanted to have kings and queens in this country we would not have fought for our independence from the great British empire. We need to be more supportive of our rural areas in America white and black. We can't ignore the fact that they have been ignored greatly moving into the technological internet era we are now it. Most areas in the country that are not close to a major city are doing rather poorly right now and we need to focus on bringing them up to the modern age's standard of living and standard of education. The less educated we are as a country as a whole the worse off we are in our standing in the world.

The problem is that things Trump is "just thinking about, not serious" today become "things Trump thinks might be a good thing for America" become "things Trump demands his advisors and/or Congress do for him" over a span of a few months. He knows to probe the waters and get initial feedback so he can direct spin against the resistance so when he goes hard he knows how to smear opponents.

it would be funny if it was the first time he's said it or alluded to it. He's "joked" about it on several occasions now and with increasing frequency. At a certain point it stops being a joke and starts becoming a seed to plant in the collective consciousness of his base so that when push comes to shove there will be millions of people saying he should rightfully be able to extend past a second term.

I'm sure this totally isn't to guarantee that he remains in office long enough to not be convicted for the stuff he would be convicted of if he was to lose in 2020. And with that in mind it also isn't a sign that he is starting to doubt his chances at reelection. Nope, everyone knows you get extra time when you get investigated yet don't get convicted due to being a higher power.
