https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48275827 Not sure about this one. It's not been long since the original series ended, they haven't even changed any of the cast, and they're reusing the same exact script as last time. Also considering the original series was a total failure and everyone disliked that, it's not looking good for this reboot. They are probably just desperate since the spinoff series where May and Corbyn team up has been an absolute disaster.
I'm just gonna go ahead and assume it's gonna be the same deal but on a different size paper, double spaced, and using a different color ink
I thought May was resigning?
Only after her deal goes through. Aka never.
They're bringing on the Game of Thrones writers and Rian Johnson in the hopes of a revival - I remain optimistic.
the real secret is using a font where she can stick extra spaces between some letters just to make things slightly longer. Everybody looks at the paragraph and line spacing
Well you might as well set the bar really high for the world record of "most times voted on the same fucking thing"
What's really amazing about it is we apparently can't have a second referendum because that might set a bad precedent of just voting about thing over and over until you get the result you want
O shit, Brexit secretary hints that if this reboot fails they might have to cancel the franchise altogether “I think if the House of Commons does not approve the [bill] then the Barnier deal is dead in that form and I think the house will have to then address a much more fundamental question between whether it will pursue … a no-deal option or whether it will revoke,” he said.
No-deal seems more likely than revocation. I know the 'political suicide' argument gets churned out constantly, but complete revocation after a pitiful attempt at Brexit would be a wonderful 101 way to blow your party up. It's not going to draw back any Remainers, and Brexiteers will gladly watch the party crash and burn if they pull that kind of stunt. We're in a political landscape where a couple polls have placed Tories as the third biggest party if a general election were to be held. That's terrible for them, and it's only going to get worse if they continue to be so blasé.
For what it's worth, I have made petition to try and block May from holding another deal till the public gets a vote. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/261485/sponsors/new?token=vjDT6db1wC8nirb8UqO0
