You've clearly never shot a gun before.
Have you shot a gun before?
The issue with legalizing automatic weapons is that it would actually drive the prices of black market weaponry down further, making it easier for people who legitimately want them for violence to obtain
The number of automatic weapons used in violent crimes before Firearms Owners' Protection Act was less than 30 in the previous 10 years. You can buy an M16A1 surplus parts kit, an AR15 lower receiver, and easily convert it for less than $800. So how is price an issue? It's not price, the fact is it's simply much easier to acquire a cheap stolen handgun or shotgun to commit a crime.
clays http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clay_pigeon_shooting Just realized Clarkson would have a heart attack if he seen this.
Clarkson doesnt even like Porsche's man
Just link me the previous sources and claims you found unreliable, I'll do some digging on them.
Myth: Registration does not lead to confiscation Fact: It did in Canada. The handgun registration law of 1934 was the source used to identify and confiscate (without compensation) over half of the registered handguns in 2001. the only source for this claim was: Civil Disobedience In Canada: It Just Happened To Be Guns, Dr. Paul Gallant, and Dr. Joanne Eisen, Idaho Observer, August 2000 here's the article: http://www.proliberty.com/observer/20000806.htm the article has no sources at all, and was written by an eye doctor and dentist from Idaho
boomerangs and slingshots have been adapted into toys, just like guns have into water pistols. I don't propose a ban on water pistols, so I don't propose a ban on boomerangs that don't have blades attached to them nor to slingshots that can't carry payloads heavy enough to kill people. Bows - while dangerous - are dangerous on the level of semi-automatic weaponry. They have a significantly lower capacity for widespread destruction.
That doesn't change the fact that they are weapons designed to kill and maim. They're just as "dangerous" as my Glock.
yeah because a bunch of gun nuts firing automatic weapons definitely want "sane" gun laws
Yeah because owning guns=insane right
Yeah because owning guns=insane right
do you have trouble reading? he never said or implied that
do you have trouble reading? he never said or implied that
It reads like it to me. Seems like he is suggesting that just because they own guns, they have a different idea of "sane."

Any handgun of .32 or .25 cal.and any handgun with a barrel length less than 4.14" became illegal at the stroke of the pen. Owners of more than 553,000 handguns were given three options: 1. Sell their handgun to legally qualified dealers or individuals. 2. Render them inoperable. 3. Surrender them to the gov. without compensation.
firing squad was made of orks, that's why the shots kept missing.
10,000 bullets? what a waste of money
ITT: people are not allowed to have fun doing their favorite hobbies because simple minded people are opinionated.
ITT: people are not allowed to have fun doing their favorite hobbies because simple minded people are opinionated.
I like how you claim everyone that disagrees with your opinion is simple minded after making an incredibly easy statement to bend.
Fun is fun, if you're being safe and smart about it I don't see why you should stop
ITT: people are not allowed to have fun doing their favorite hobbies because simple minded people are opinionated.
straw man/oversimplification much?
